Ideal for allowing a keyboard with the Din5 keyboard connector to be plugged into a computer with a MiniDin6 connector. Connectors: 1 x PS/2 (MiniDin6) Male to 1 x AT (Din5) Female Type: Keyboard Adapter cable. Fully shielded to prevent unwanted EMI/RFI interference. Fully molded connectors provide a quick and easy connection every time. 28 AWG. Length: 6 inches (0.5ft) Review: Good product, prompt service - I needed this adapter as I have an older but superior keyboard from an old 486 computer which uses the old AT style connector, This adapter allows me to plug the AT keyboard to my new computer. I like this older keyboard, as it has a solid well made quality to ithat the new keyboards lack (every keyboard I've owned in the last few years has had a cheap almost flimsy feel, and the lettering always wears off.) At any rate, the adapter is well made, fits well, and it does the job. I couldn't be happier. Review: I'm so glad they still make these - I got an ancient BTC keyboard which used the AT protocol, so I needed this and a PS/2 to USB adapter to use it on a modern system. Keep in mind that this configuration is flawless and all functions work, including the lock-lights. Cheap and works well. If you have an AT keyboard, get this.

Simple purchase simply works!
This product does everything it is intended to do, and that is why I feel justified in giving full, 5 star, ratings. In the long run, there is no reason to believe the cable will just stop working. It's built well enough that I would expect any break to be based on user or human error.

Works as advertised; plug too large!
Works as expected. Used to connect an early-90's mechanical keyboard to a more modern computer and it worked just fine. I will say, the female-AT plug feels a bit too large for what it does, and it feels like the weight of it plus the keyboard cable might cause problems for the cord where it goes into the PS/2 connector, since it's hanging off of that plug. Only time will tell.

Great adapter for 180 degree AT cables
Note: This is an adapter for 180 degree AT connectors, will not work dor 240 degree ones. That being said, worked perfectly for my 1986 IBM Model F, which i am typing this review on. Cant beat those buckling springs! 😁

works instantly!
just remember to have the computer off before you attach it to your keyboard, otherwise it won't recognize it. This allowed an old DOS keyboard to run on my windows 7 PC. Dig up an old DOS keyboard instead of paying 200 dollars for a modern mechanical keyboard like the rest of your friends.
