Wow these are powerful little puck lights. They are brighter than the bigger puck lights and smaller than the palm of your hand. Unfortunately each puck requires 3 AAA batteries. With heavy use, they only last 7 to 10 days. Getting them to sync is hard because they don't always respond to the remote and is made harder by the fact that their responsiveness to the remote varies from puck to puck and day to day. This makes using the color feature a nightmare because the remote included doesn't have a button per color and instead requires you to cycle through every color. If you're looking for individual, small, very bright lights for projects or costumes, these would be great. But for synchronized lighting or back lighting a larger area, I wouldn't recommend them.

These lights are amazing. I like the color choices, nice and bright. I put them in ziploc bags to hang in pumpkin bucket s outside and they worked great in the cold. I would purchase them again. The timer also works well.

I used these in my Halloween decorations and they worked great. Made it so easy to have things light up where there wasn’t an outlet available

I tried these lights in my walk in closet for additional light in some dark corners, and areas covered above, or below, by other hanging clothes, for boxes on the floor, etc., how closets are… The lights are brighter than some other “puck lights” I tried that were motion-sensing. In general, if you like light in some areas but not others, you can point the remotes at the lights to turn on… for me, I want all the “puck lights” on at the same time to coordinate outfits, by pulling together some items across the closet, above, and below. I still like the idea of motion sensing “puck lights” to turn on when waking in the closet, off when walking out. The problem is that the “puck lights” advertise as being “smart” — however they do not “talk among themselves,” like one telling the others to turn on, for a group effect. I have seen stair lights that detect motion and fade on the lights for 3 or 4 stairs ahead of a person, while the other lights behind the person fade out. The individual lights are not as “smart” as colonies in nature, where “members” have brains smaller than a marble, perhaps, smaller than a ball bearing, a fraction of the size of these puck lights, Tiny fireflies can illuminate in groups, but these lights cannot, without pointing a remote at them, sometimes, individually, moving around, and across, the closet, high, low, middle, corners… A good alternative to motion-sensing might be turning on based on a schedule, for instance, when normally occupying a room, or space, or not, for security, safety — however, these lights can only turn off a few minute, and only after they are already on, to begin with, again, with another few presses of the remote control, moving around the spaces where the “puck lights” are placed. So… not ideal for my walk-in closet, where clothes and other items can “block” the remote, and, perhaps, some lights will never turn on… if forgetting to walk around and count all 12 “puck lights.” Every change, and button press, with the remote control requires walking around, or otherwise, moving about the room/closet. As the expression goes, “your mileage” (appreciation) may vary, widely. Some will like them, some will not, some will think they are just OK. Despite having colors, the “puck” lights cannot match the surroundings, like an octopus, or follow the rhythm of music like a toddler. Just be aware, so you don’t have expectations and need to return them, give them away, or use them for something else you were not originally intending.

Very short battery life with minimal use. Many stopped working all together. Hard to get adhesive off the wall. Also not nearly as much light as other options.
