Nespresso Essenza Mini Espresso Machine, 20.3 ounces, Black

I'm a total amateur to espresso and this was perfect for me. I wanted this model so I could use third party pods and it's been great! Super easy to take pieces apart to clean, it's perfectly sleek and small on my counter, and quick!! The milk frother is AMAZING and exactly what I was hoping for. The espresso machine takes barely 30 seconds from turning on to being ready to brew. The milk frother takes about 1 minute to fully heat/froth the max amount of milk. The cold setting works great, too! 2 shots espresso and a cup of frothed oat milk is the perfect amount to fill my 20oz cup to the brim! I honestly don't have picky taste and I like sweet drinks so my daily coffee is some caramel + chocolate drizzle in the bottom of my cup, either Starbucks Blonde pods or target's Good&Gather Colombian pods, and Oatly Oat milk! I think its the perfect drink and after being a $6 day dutch bros drinker- this has saved me so much money in the long run! Definitely recommend this for a good cup of coffee!

This machine works great, but after a few years, it started to leak. I thought it was because I used some pods that weren't Nespresso, but they leaked with them too. In any event, I had to replace the machine and decided to try the Vertuo. This particular seller was very good in helping me return this item and I highly recommend purchasing from them.

I bought this as a gift for my mom. She uses it every day. It performs well, is fast, easy to use and doesn’t leak. The frother is totally worth to bundle with it - it’s a game changer. It was a little pricey, but it also was the cheapest bundle I found at the time for this exact machine. It also is compact which is what I was looking for since she doesn’t have much counter space - it fits perfectly. The box did come neaten up and showed exactly what it was, which is more of a shipping issue. Luckily, people around me don’t seem to steal packages.

I bought this one because it would sit out on the counter 24/7 so I thought smaller would be better. When I got my next issue of CR magazine, they had ratings on espresso machines. This one topped all other pod machines in their tests. I bought the one with the Nespresso milk foamer. In the morning I make myself a mocha by first putting two pods thru the Essenza Mini while the milk is heating/foaming. I then add chocolate syrup into the double espresso like they do at Starbucks. Then stir to mix the chocolate syrup and espresso. Then I pour in the foamed, hot milk and stir a bit. I usually take a spoon to get the thickest part of the froth out of the frother and put it on top the drink. Heaven! PS: I bought Peets pods plus some fro Amazon that cost about 28 cents each. And some from Nespresso. I can't tell one from another. They all deliver crema and good strong coffee.

This is our second Nespresso machine. It works great, as does the milk frother. It’s also nice that it comes with some pods to try. That’s new since we had our previous machine (yes, their machines used to come with nothing) in the early 2010’s. I’m happy to see it’s still a great machine. The $20 coupon that comes with the machine, however, does not work. I tried it multiple ways after registering our machine and it gave me the same error. Calling Nespresso customer service wasn’t much help: their system couldn’t see my machine’s registry and therefore they couldn’t do anything. Same song, same dance as before. 13 years ago, with our first machine, we encountered similar problems with their customer service and ordering which led us to abandon it completely. I had hoped after so much time, attention, and a fairly robust media campaign that they had fixed these issues. Apparently not. However, now that so many companies make compatible pods, I don’t have to go through Nespresso anymore. I’m happy to buy my coffee from a different company without the hassle. If you like espresso you’ll like this machine. It’s simple to use and makes a great latte if done right.

The coffee machine is easy to use. Very compact, does not take up much space. You can make coffee for three people at once. You can only put a small cup on the stand, and since I like to drink from a large one, it has already fallen several times 😏. That's why I remove the cup stand when I brew coffee. The coffee machine is noisy, but it doesn't annoy me. Aeroccino Milk Frother works great. Easy to clean. Whether you get airy foam from milk depends on the quality of the milk.

UPDATED REVIEW BELOW: I originally ordered this model for my daughter as a gift and we received the Nespresso Virtuo by DeLonghi model. I emailed the seller to let them know but being it was a gift and I didn't want to have to wait for another. It was a "Happy mistake", Good customer service. My daughter loves it & we tried it too, easy to use and clean! **UPDATE**After 4 months of having the "Nespresso Virtuo DeLonghi", my dauhhter told me the cleaning part of the machine started making weird motor noises and water has been dripping out not a steady stream like it used to. She said she's been so gentle with it and hasn't even used it every day! I contacted the seller even went through Amazon customer service, they told me they reached out to them. I wanted to see if there was a warranty on these...No response. **NOW I'm thinking what I thought was a "happy mistake" by the seller was probably a used machine!** so disappointed and this was a gift for her.

I purchased the Essenza Mini to "me" to use at my office. I wanted a small machine to help get me over the afternoon hump. The Essenza hasn't disappointed. I have only had it for a short period of time but so far every cup of espresso has been perfect or at least better than I ever imagined getting from a pod. It's quick, quiet, and easy to operate. It is all plastic and some parts like the water reservoir seem quite fragile. Also, the instructions are very basic and don't cover every function of the machine like holding both buttons for shut down or holding a single button for three or seconds to program the exact amount you desire. I found these watching a reviews on Youtube.

after just 10 days the machine started giving out a burning smell. amazon and seller have been most unhelpful. I now have this expensive machine in its box and don't know what to do

I was hooked less than a week after I've got this, my Keurig cannot even remotely compare. And the Aeroccino is easily the best milk frother I've used, works great with almond milk!

Nespresso is my favourite coffee. Have been using the machine for 7 + years. Recently bought a new machine. There are two buttons, one for single shot espresso and another for double. But it works opposite. And the volume of coffee is too low. Didn't expect this from Nespresso.
