Used many of these in industrial panels. No problems and very reliable.

Decent device, good build but it does not support the actual PoE++ standard IEEE802.3BT. I tried using this with a ubiquiti unifi flex switch and it failed to detect it as PoE++ and so it limited the switch’s output to 20W (which is what it does with a PoE+ input). I’m not sure what standard it does support for PoE++ since it’s not stated and PROCET did not say when I contacted them. The description only lists IEEE802.3af and at which are PoE and PoE+ respectively but it does describe it as a PoE++ switch even if it doesn’t support the BT protocol. Just beware of this. I didn’t notice until it was too late to return it. And it’s not exactly cheap.

Build quality on this looks very nice. The wide range of DC input voltage allows it to be connected directly to solar panels if desired. It has dual power inputs, so I could connect one to the solar panels directly, and the other to batteries charged by the solar panels. That would bypass the charge controller when the sun is out saving a few percent on efficiency. But the mppt controller is efficient, so probably not worth the trouble. What is nice about that voltage range (12-55vdc) is it can be connected wide variety of battery powered systems. Idle draw is aroun 2.2 watts, which is more than I would have hoped, but not terrible.
