It Just Works
This tool worked perfectly to remove the crank cap off my Shimano 105 R7000 crank set. The small hook on the tool pulled the small safety hook up on the Hollowtech crank arm as designed. It does the same work as the big blue brand tool for less than 60% of the price. Good deal.
