Worth the money if you have signal voltage higher than 3.3v
I've purchased countless other Bluetooth modems that claim to accept 5v Signals, because they were cheap, and none ever did (I'm looking at you JY-MCU). I could never get a reliable connection when I would "level shift" so it was nice to have something that just worked.I have no real testing to prove it but I believe the range is much better on this device than other cheaper alternatives as well, but that could just be perceived. I can connect to a device in my block wall garage from my back yard a hundred feet or so away with no issues. The default baud rate is 115,200 not 9600 like many other chips.I needed a board that could handle 5vTTL signals and this one works perfect, if you have 3.3v signals I don't really see the need for this board at twice the price. I haven't had any Bluetooth modem fail ever so I can't comment on comparative longevity.

Works great
This works great. There is a problem with Windows 10 and bluetooth, but this board works very well.Windows 10 does not always connect to the modem so I have to have it forget (unpair) it, and then pair them again. Each time windows 10 assigns a new com port number to the modem. My terminal software only goes to com12, so when it gets above com12, I can't connect. Microsoft apparently is in no hurry to correct this problem. There is a program that will set Win10 back to assigning a lower number, but there are side effects of this too.Anyway this modem works well.

Does not support HID host
This module firmware does not support HID host configuration and thus cannot be used to connect to a HID client device such as a keyboard or gamepad.

Actually works. There are dozens of cheaper bluetooth/serial adapters, but this one actually works. Documents are in English, firmware is available to look through, and doesn't loose settings locking me out. Wish it cost less, but I've already spent this much one three other modules that didn't work. Will buy this one again.

good job ada
Adafruit is preasuring the compation to raise quality and lower price, this is a classic example, this is now available at sparkfuns site for 24.00. Has to be because of adafruit, good job ada!

Great modem for projects
This is a great little modem. I use it in remote control telescope projects and am very happy. I programmed it and connected to an Arduino Mega. It worked right away with a mobile application.

Poor product and not worth it to buy.
Product is not working properly and we have tried to connect the product many times but we are not getting any response. We have tried all possible ways which are available on internet for making connection but we haven't got the results.
