I brought one of these because I had previously purchased another product sold by the same manufacture. That product is located onboard my boat that is slipped about 100 miles from my home. It’s there to provide me with some peace of mind about its security. This device is slightly different in that it attaches directly to your ODB-II socket located under your driver dashboard. It’s easy to install (like 5-seconds) and is powered by your vehicle’s battery. Absolutely no maintenance required, and a very VERY low monthly service charge. This device is app-usable and with it you can track your vehicle ANYWHERE in the world in real-time, just as they advertise. It’s easy to use the app, and offers a lot of confidence in being able to locate your vehicle anywhere and at anytime. This thing REALLY WORKS. Since my first purchase I’ve brought 3 more of them for all my family’s vehicles. Great buy at a very good price.

So the big reason to choose an OBDII port tracker is because you can plug it in and leave it - never needs charging, and it's always ready when the vehicle moves. The unit is pretty simple, looks much like an OBDII code reader like the one I have plugged into my Volvo C70, except this one provides tracking. The unit comes with a little booklet with a QR code you scan to get the app. Register - pretty simple, and straightforward, input a method of payment and choose your plan - monthly, yearly, prepaid - all simple and easy to understand. Once paid up and registered, I inserted the tracker into my wife's Ioniq 5 OBDII port and we went for a ride! It took about 5 minutes for the unit to establish a connection - and it tells you this in the booklet, so those who say this is a defect are revealing they didn't read the booklet. Once connected it displays a satellite map, moving display with "YOU' centered as a dot (I was in the car with it). It's not precisely "real time" there is a small lag, but no big deal. Because it's connected to the car's OBD port there is a speed readout, but that's also somewhat delayed. There is also a "history" function where you can review previous episodes in 1x - 8x speed. Without ANY DOUBT, wherever that car goes, you're going to see it! You can turn off the unit's status light from the app so it doesn't glow in the darkness and give away the fact that something is plugged into the OBDII port, but most people wouldn't know if something was there or not, or if it should be there, so that's not a problem unless whoever is operating the car is knowledgeable and suspicious. For$25 bucks, and an easy to setup app that works, I'd say this is a great value! The monthly rate is a whopping $8.95. This is great for when kids are driving, and in fact it's a good idea because if the car breaks down you can see exactly where the car is located! The unit looks durable and sturdy.

Plugs right into the ODBII port. Desktop Software and APP work great and very easy to understand.

Very accurate and updates according to your schedule. Would give 5 stars if the location history was done like Life360 and if it had even a little battery life. Only works when plugged in and I hit it sometimes getting into the vehicle.

Never tried this brand before, but it works well and exactly as described. Setup was quick and easy — just plug it in and go. Tracking has been reliable so far and does what it’s supposed to. Good product!

When our daughter turned 16, we conditioned her ability to drive on her downloading an app on her phone that would let us know where she was. Being a typical teenager, she quickly figured out that she didn’t like us having the ability to monitor her, and she figured out how to disable the GPS functionality of the app. We purchased this tracker and installed it in her car without her knowledge and have immense peace of mind knowing we have a backup way of knowing where she is. The module is very discreet, especially given the location of the diagnostic port in her car. The ability to disable the status lights makes it even more unobtrusive. The mobile app is not the best. On my wife’s phone, when she plays back the history, it displays the date and time depicted on the map; on my phone it does not. If there is a way on the mobile app to designate locations that you want to be notified when the device enters and exits, I haven’t figured it out. On the computer website, it is fairly easy to designate these locations, and they do transfer to the mobile app. The playback speed on the history function is rediculously fast. I guess if you’re managing a fleet of cross country trucks, having a playback that fast is helpful, but it is tricky to adjust the playback speed for our application. Finally, the module comes with free 3-minute position reporting. Again, if you have a fleet of long-haul trucks that use predominantly the interstate highway, that might be all you need. We paid extra for 10-second reporting, and that seems to be perfectly adequate. No need to pay the extra extra for 3-second reporting. We were disappointed that the module does not report vehicle diagnostics as was highlighted in the item description on Amazon. No mileage, fuel level, etc. That was a feature that really sold us on the product. Our daughter drives a 2016 Mini, so it’s not like she’s driving a really old car. But all-in-all, very satisfied with the product. The accuracy seems to be everything we require. The 10-second reporting works well even in congested residential street systems. To recap, the PROS: 1. Location reporting and accuracy 2. No batteries to charge 3. Very discreet and unobtrusive 4. Made in USA The CONS: 1. Inconsistent mobile app 2. Minor issues with full-function website 3. Free 3-minute position reporting essentially worthless; true functionality only comes when you pay extra for more frequent reporting.

The device itself is ok but the app and website are absolute garbage. Admin functions for updating an expired credit card are very buggy, as well as forgotten password and other pretty basic features. You'll be able to track your car but if you need to do just about anything else you'll be pulled into a time wasting hassle of bad software.

I purchased this device for the purpose of location tracking in the event of a theft. After playing around with it for a few days I am very satisfied with how accurate it is and how flawlessly it updates on the devices/vehicles location. I haven’t had a single issue with it yet! Also, dealing with their customer support line was a breeze when I had an issue setting it up. Would definitely recommend and purchase again!

It wouldn't connect and track at first. I sent one email to tech support and they immediately got it up and running for me.

Excellent and easy to use device for fleet tracking !

Been using this since Nov 2021. At first, it had issues connecting, but tech support was great. Got it up and running in no time. It was very accurate. Loved the 3 second updates. You could see the exact route. Decided to buy a second one for our other vehicle. Same thing, wouldn't connect at first, but support was good and got it working. Now about 6 months later, one of my trackers isn't working properly. Emails to support go unanswered. Calling them (long distance to USA for me) appears to be the only way to reach them. I'm getting a replacement tracker sent to me by UPS. Hopefully the new one will work. The first tracker I bought is still working well, although it too does occasionally lose the signal. Will monitor to ensure it functions as it should.

Spoke with customer service today. Specifically Claudia with land air and sea. She went out of her way with the customer service aspect. Very professional and respectful. What a great company and a great employee! Very excited for this product!
