Terrible smell
Had to discard the item since it was faulty. It was causing a musty, very bad odor fill the room whenever used. Update: The lovely people at Levoit quickly changed the product with a proper one, which works as intended after a week of non-stop use. Initial review was 1/5, but I am happily updating it to 4/5 after the amount of support that has been provided.

Replacement and usage
The air purifier is incredibly silent and takes a long time before it needs to be replaced. When changing air filter the process is incredibly simplistic and easy.

I have 4 Levoit air purifiers in my home. One 400S Three 300S. I like them all andvthey all work well, especially the 300s in the bedrooms and the big 400S in the kitchen/den area. They do a great job with the dust, dander and pollen. The odor elimination could be better, but it helps and eventually gets the odors out. It just takes a while.. I continue to buy the Levoit branded filters because they fit well. They’re high-quality but I do feel like they’re a little bit pricey. Giving them a quick brush every month helps with their effectiveness and longevity..
