I have a rather thick walnut headboard and many clip on lights just would not work. It was a happy surprise that this one had a large enough clip-on mechanism that does not scratch my headboard. The light is battery operated and comes with a rechargeable cord with USB plug-in. I am very happy with this light- I purchased 4 other different reading lights for my bed that didn't work over the past few years.

Good light but the only downside is that it has to be charged frequently.

I was looking for a little battery light to have on my TV table next to the couch. At night, when it’s time to wind down and I turn all the lights off, TV on, 4 dogs are finally settled, I wasn’t sure what I would find to suit my needs. I couldn’t have something that had to plugged in to an outlet. They’re all too far from where I sit. But when I ran across this I thought I’d give it a shot. Sooooo easy. It recharges from a USB port. No batteries (I don’t think) And it holds tight being clipped on to the table. Much more stable than a standing lamp of some kind. It’s small and the neck of the light can be twisted around any way you want it to go. It has THREE adjustments for brightness. I haven’t had it long enough to comment on how the light lasts before you have to recharge. But who cares? For the little money I paid to get it home, it was one of the best purchases I’ve made it a long time. Don’t debate your decision. You will not be sorry if you decide to buy it.

Bought to use for nighttime diaper changes. No outlet near the changing table. It has been perfect. Haven't had to charge yet (about two weeks.)

Bought these hoping for a lighting solution in my craft booth that I can’t get power to. Battery charge only lasts 2.5 hours which is no help when I’m doing shows that usually last 10 hours a day. The light is significantly bright for the first hour and then begins to dim.

This light wasn't nearly as bright as I wanted and the battery really doesn't last all that long. It is a cheap light though, so I guess that's to be expected. The clip isn't super strong, but its strong enough to hang onto the side of a large whiteboard (why I bought it). I ended up just keeping it plugged into a battery pack and it did provide me with some light, but if you need a lot of light/bright light this is not what you're looking for.

Got these for my kids bunk beds for them to read and have light in their beds. They’re very bright but have lighter settings. I think these are a great value! Love that they recharge and the cord is just usbc so if you don’t hold onto that one little cord you probably have them laying around which is good.

I use this to clip on the side of a hospital bed. It’s got 3 brightness settings. It’s a touch sensor. Just tap and it goes brighter then off. Love it!
