Libman 117 Microfiber Wet and Dry Mop

I am very pleased with this microfiber mop compared with the BRUCE FLOOR HARDWOOD FLOOR two piece mop set. The connector piece broke after 2 uses and only a child could use it. Absolutely worthless!! This is much smaller, easier to get into hard to reach spots AND you can wash and rinse the pad so as not to mop the rest of the floor with a DIRTY PAD. This ONE PIECE DURABLE mop lets me know that I can put a little muscle into mopping. I also ordered the BRUCE REFILL at a little over $12, so between the two, FREE SHIPPING. I had gone to Lowe's and could only find the other brand. It was $15.99 plus tax. I haven't had a problem with the green botton yet, but I've put a piece of tape over it anyway. Why get frustrated if you don't have to? All in all, floors will be cleaner and I've finally got the right tools for the job. The price was a good deal especially with the free shipping. HAPPY! PS. Got it in 3 days.

I had first purchased this mop several years ago, and had lasted up to the point of when my son accidentally threw away the head,while I was cleaning it. It's easy to say it would have lasted many more years if that sad accident hadn't happened. Lol. Since then, I've purchased many other brands, only to be let down multiple times. I just could not find my libman dust mop. After about 3 more sad microfiber mops later, I've found my old one on Amazon! Unlike the microfiber ones, every little thing does not get stuck in the fibers like this one. The movement is smooth, picks up everything, the cloth heads remove and clean easily, and last for years. Just make sure when you throw it in the dryer, you do not use fabric softener, as the static helps attract more dust! You won't be displeased with this! Absolutely recommend!

My friend had me dog sit for her while on vacation. She has this Libman. I used it on her hardwood floors after a rainy week with dogs in and out. My gosh I was sold! So easy to clean and “reinstall” the microfiber and it made her floors look beautiful with not much effort. So much less than an ordinary mop. I purchased my own for cleaning my church. The mop I had been using always left a film on the floors. Then I’d refill the bucket and use only water to get the film off. Much effort with stairs and all to lug a mop up and down throughout a big area. This Libman is super great to get easily into corners and along the walls. For the first time in a year the floors look like someone put some effort into cleaning! I’m super happy I happened upon this Libman. I have never before used anything along the lines of a swiffer product. Highly recommended.

I use this just olike a swiffer, but because the pad is machine washable, I don't have to throw anything away, and I can use my own cleaning solution, not the toxic stuff that you use for a swiffer. Much more environmentally friendly, and much less expensive, and the pad is way better than a swiffers - it actually cleans! The only complaint I have is that it only last 2-3 years. I have had to replace these - I'd like them to last more like 10 years.

This is my favorite floor cleaner; easy to use and dries quickly after washing. I have cats and wipe floors several times a day. I keep a plastic bottle filled with water and floor cleaner and hang my Libman in a handy place. I ‘dust’ the floor first; wipe the cat hair off the Libman with an old dryer sheet; then pour the ‘cleaner/water’ mixture on the floor and wipe again with the Libman. It soaks up the water and I wipe the flooring (tile). I have 7 replacement pads and use one a day. They slip on and off easily. They distribute water well and soak up water easily. Then once a week I wash them with my rags and they are good to go. EXCELLENT and inexpensive for regular use.

I have always considered Libman is an excellent company for top quality cleaning supplies. This Libman Microfiber Floor Mop is just great largely due to its long length, good wide width, and sturdy cleaning pad. Swiveling to get into difficult areas and around furniture is also a nice feature. At my house, we have an Upstairs/Downstairs mop situation. No this is not Downton Abbey, but I do like to have designated mops for different purposes. I have one downstairs for the kitchen where I use it with ammonia and hot water on my tile, and I have another one upstairs in the cat's "Infirmary." For the upstairs mop, I use plenty of bleach and the Libman mop keeps that room sparkling clean and germ-free. After using it, I just toss the mop head into the washing machine and it comes out like new.

Love this mop for a damp sweep of wood floors and/or dusting. It's nice that you can throw the microfiber cloth directly in the laundry afterwards. The only problem is a design flaw in the plastic part that connects the floor sweeper to the handle, it's very fragile and our last one broke and we had to replace it. It would be better for that part to be made of metal. Otherwise a keeper!
