Arrived very well packaged, and in a smart presentation box with a zip-case containing the kit itself, a pack of 10 tubes, USB charging cable, instruction booklet and warranty card.The kit itself is pre-charged, very lightweight, and really easy to set up. It clearly states that before performing any tests you must switch on the unit, let the 15 second countdown happen and wait around 10 further seconds for the device to power off. This MUST be done three times in a row before performing an actual test.After the 3 initial power on and offs, it's a simple matter of switching it on, pressing the settings button (the button on the front right of the device, and setting the desired measurement of how the read out is handled. As we are used to the %BAC method, this is the one we selected.Next is the important bit - setting the correct warning (amber screen) and fail (red screen) limits, as by default the device comes pre-set to the US and European levels (0.020 % BAC as an amber and 0.050 % BAC as a fail)To set this for the current UK limits that apply to England, we set the 'amber' to 0.030 % BAC and the 'red' (fail) to 0.080 % BACBlowing anything from 0.000 % BAC to 0.029 % would show a 'green' display representing a 'pass'.Blowing anything from 0.030 % BAC to 0.079 % would show an 'amber' display representing a 'caution / alcohol present, but still within the UK England legal limit'.Blowing anything from 0.080 % BAC and above would show an 'red' display representing a 'FAIL'As this kit uses a 'fuel cell' rather than a semi-conductor, it is extremely accurate (+ or - 2% accuracy) as opposed to a semi-conductor which can often be up to 20% inaccurate.Testers using 'fuel-cell' technology are generally a lot more expensive than the semi-conductor testers, but they are much more reliable and accurate - and that's what important.

Lo llevo siempre en el coche. Te sirve para orientarte sobre si estás o no en condiciones de conducir, no solo por ti, también por los demás ya que a veces pensamos que vamos mejor de lo que realmente vamos para coger un coche… Hay que esperar 2 minutos entre prueba y prueba o te dará valores locos. La exactitud del alcoholímetro no es exacta pero si orientativa.

Bonjour , produit absolument non utilisable , mesure farfelue aucune cohérence , j'ai été amené à l'utiliser hier pour la 1 ère fois le résultat est absolument faux , j'avais acheté cet objet sur les conseils de mon beau frère qui as exactement le même modèle et les résultats affichés sont totalement différents d'un exemplaire à l'autre , donc aucun fiabilité et en aucun cas je ne pourrais me fier à ce produit qui risque vraiment de me faire perdre mon permis de conduireAvez vous une réponse à me donnerCordialement Christian Krieguer
