I’m a big fan of SaltStick fast chews. My favorite flavor is mixed berry. I am a very salty sweater especially when I run, and they help replenish the electrolytes instantly. They taste like a tasty candy treat. No water necessary. Chew and go! I train for marathons, and I bought the packets due to strict race rules in Tokyo about sealed nutrition. Success! Otherwise, I buy the bottles and carry a few in snack size zipped baggies.

I have found and my backpacking buddies agree that these are "bite them for a burst of energy and flavor" treats.
