I can't judge the power of this amplifier as mine arrived defective. The device powers on, but the fan will not always stay on and the amplifier goes into thermal protect mode. If the fan does stay on, it sounds as if it has a bad bearing. See video for the audio.

this is the best amplifier we replace our old one which was shutdown in middle off program so when we have program longer then 3 hours we always fear when is shutdown so we could not put on high volume Now after Buying this unit we do not have any fear off shutdown any we enjoying loudest what possible be aware this unit woks only on 20 amp and required 20 amp plug and 20 amp breaker ,we did not have so we have run all new wire and new plug which extra cost.

Unfortunately, this item came with the thermal light on channel one permanently lit, which means that there’s some kind of a short or some kind of an issue. The worst part is this was for a client who had The exact same amplifier that had the same problem, which makes me question Crown amplifiers in general. It was obvious As soon as we plugged in the amplifier that it was broken and someone definitely missed that. That’s not something that happens from shipping. Someone did not do their job.
