Good first edf jet
Bought this for my sons first edf jet. He started with the Aeroscout then went to the Eflite T-28 1.1m. He mastered those so I bought the SU-27 and installed a Spektrum AR637TA for SAFE and pack telemetry. I’d compare this to the Eflite 64mm f-15 eagle but maybe not quite as fast on top end. Does take off quickly with flaperons in takeoff configuration. I set up flaperons for takeoffs and landings and it flies great with them. It is a battery eater though with twin 50mm fans. Had to reinforce the nose gear after a hard landing but haven’t had any real issues with the jet whatsoever. We removed the stock livery and replaced it with the old school Soviet star for a different look and we both love how it looks now. My son is a great pilot but is 11 years old btw so if he can master it, I’d say anyone can. Just watch your pack voltage and have fun!
