I bought two sets of these dice as a wedding present. The d4 in the snowflake obsidian was super wonky. Its not the right size, all the sides are different sizes mking it a unbalanced nd the numbers are in the not aligned at all. Otherwise he rest are nice

as much as i like these dice, i have to leave this bad review. they were not packaged properly, the other set i bought was inside a cloth bag with the d4 in an individual ziplock. this set came with a cloth bag but the dice were not in it, the bag was neatly folded inside the thin plastic ziploc with the dice. that would just be annoying on its own but the result of this is that the d4 was chipped and damaged losing an entire face.only other complaint is that i seemed to get a batch with 90%snowflakes, the d20 is more white than black which wasn't the aesthetic i was looking for.

These do not look like the image that was shown when ordered. They appear to be acrylic dice just a bit heavier, and not the stone that was ordered. The velvet pouch did not come either.They are of course functional just disappointed that didn't get what ordered. Price is far to high for what was received.

These are beautiful dice when viewed from several feet away, but upon even cursory inspection they show a surprising number of flaws. The finish on the D8 appears scratched (pictured), The numbering is uneven in many places (pictured) and the "12" on the d12 is a mess (pictured). It seems like enamel spilled out of the numbers during manufacture. Additionally the D12 and D20(!) are uneven and do not roll well, which is unacceptable, especially for a $50 set. (There is a picture of the D20 but it is hard to show how crooked it feels. Notice it leans left in the photo)I will be requesting a refund and most likely will not buy from WizDice in the future, and I advise you do the same. ArtisanDice.com is more expensive, but I've heard they are high quality, so maybe I'll look there.

The dice look like the lowest quality you could buy, and they're incredibly expensive for how bad they are. Half of them have edges that look like they'll chip on the first roll. The d10 and d12 are horrendously asymmetrical with engravings that are completely off center. Shop around elsewhere for better quality stone dice.

Though, I will be keeping the opalite set I purchased, the quality of the numbers etched into the stone is sub par. There are several numbers that are severely misaligned. Upon further inspection, most numbers on most dice are noticeably off mark. Personally, it is not enough to warrant a return, but only because the aesthetic of having stone dice is more appealing to me. However, the lack quality control is severely disappointing. This is usually why I buy Chessex, and not Wiz Dice.

The dice are cheep and damaged, the numbers are off center, corners broken, and the engraving damaged my D20 . . . These are not Handmade stone dice - they are cheep mass produced dice.Edit - I changed my 1 star to a 3 star due to the customer service I received - they were helpful and willing to send me a replacement set of dice since mine came damaged. That being said - the new set are still not up to a 5 star standard.

The dice are attractive but for the price there are too many deficiencies to award the product five or even four stars. For one, although the dice feel great in hand they are noticeably smaller than common polyhedral sets. Two, the number engraving on the dice is not centered and on several of my dice there is a distinct lack of coloring making certain numbers hard to read. Third, my d20 and d12 do not appear symmetrical but rather a little uneven on certain sides. I'm not sure if that is due to the the lack of centering in the number engraving or an uneven shape. Because of the uneven appearance I'm not sure they would be right for gaming. Despite the deficiencies they are nice to look at and feel great in hand, hence the three stars.
