Superb clock replacement!!!
Fantastic replacement for my old clock! It was a bit of struggle to get my old hands to fit on this movement (the minute & hour hands were too tight and the second hand was too loose), but after gentle tap & scrimp on the hands, the clock works fantastically! Love that the clock is now silent!!!

Yay! It fits! and it works!
I've replaced 2 different clocks parts so far and I'd highly recommend you first take apart your broken clock, measure the threads and plastic stem and see how everything is connecting and try to buy a replacement that has similar if not the same measurements because although the box of the mechanism is the same, the stem is what differs and the length of the thread part vs the plastic part are different and my 2 clocks even had the end attach differently, this one had a little black cap that snapped onto the end in the tiny hole and the other had a part that screwed onto the threads at the end. I was not able to find parts that had the exact measurements for either clock but both were close enough. I measured the original part for this clock to have a 7mm thread part and a 13mm length to the end versus the 5.5mm and 13.5mm of this replacement part, but it fits in my case. Good luck!

Two-Stage Shaft Diameters Were Wrong
This was inexpensive---and I guess I found out why. I should have bought one of the offerings that came with hands, but the hands on my clock were perfectly fine. I needed a new mechanism because the metal contact for the negative end of the AA battery had disintegrated These mechanisms all look about the same in their configuration, and there was no mention on the product page about the diameters of the two-stage shaft (hour hand and minute hand attachments) but only the length of the shaft, so there was no reason to think the old hands would not fit. But they did not fit---the shaft segments were slightly too large in both cases. I of course could not have known this until the clock---a solid, good quality, and very attractive brass clock---was disassembled (this required great care so as not to damage anything) so I could preliminarily attach the hands before reassembling the clock with the new movement. Now what to do? I decided to use a very small file to very, very carefully reduce the diameter of both shaft segments just enough to secure a good friction fit for the two hands. I proceeded slowly in an effort to take off just enough material for the purpose, constantly checking with the two hands. I did just fine with the minute hand section but took slightly too much off the hour hand portion. Now the only thing I could do was to use a couple of tiny drops of epoxy glue to hold the hour hand to the shaft section. After allowing the glue to cure for 24 hours, the hour hand was secure to its shaft section, allowing me to affix the minute hand and put the clock back together. It now runs fine---so far. The one-star rating is for this outfit's inexcusable failure to mention that their shaft section diameters are non-standard, causing me about three hours of painstaking effort that should not have been necessary. Should I ever have to replace the mechanism again, I'll get one of those that come with hands. I certainly will not be able to remove and reuse that hour hand again, not after having been epoxy glued in place.

Exact Fit. Keeps excellent time.
We have this old clock on our patio wall that my wife bought at an Estate Sale. It's fairly big with a glass face which would probably place it somewhere from the 1970's - 80's. Recently it quit working (new battery did not fix), and my wife begged me to get it repaired. I found this quartz mechanism which was reasonably priced, and it was "bare bones". (I did not need clock hands or a hanger since I intended to keep the clock original). The unit arrived promptly, and it was an exact fit for the old clock! I was mentally ready to have problems with the clock hands, but they also fit perfectly! And what what's really great is that this quartz movement keeps absolutely excellent time! I would definitely recommend.

continuous sweep second hand and shafts look the same as old movement are ever so slightly thicker
The second hand movement on this is the continuous sweep type vs. the tick tick tick 1 second at a time second hand movement on the failed one I was replacing. I hadn't even considered that before I ordered and don't care much but the clock is a fake pendulum clock so a continuous sweep second hand makes it seem even more fake. After 24 hours of use it is still 100% accurate. I used the hands from the clock but I had to use a small circular file to bore them out slightly before they would fit onto the shafts of this new movement. To the naked eye the shafts on this one looks the same as the old one but its obviously a bit thicker since the hands wouldn't fit. Once I bored the hour & minute hands out they worked perfectly. I also had to widen the hole on the plastic second hand. I did that by just jamming a push pin into it which widened it and then the second hand fit perfectly. I cant complain for less than $5 delivered but if I were doing it again I might get one that comes with hands so you'll know they'll fit and I might have tried to find a movement with the tick tick 1 second a time second hand movement vs. continuous sweep that this has.

Works! Saved me from buying a new clock
This was the replacement that I needed for my huge clock that quit working. Was so excited I found something that would allow me to keep the clock and not have to buy a new one (and to figure out how to dispose of this of this 20x30 clock if it really was broken). I’m not sure that this replacement felt like high quality… but it is working and has been for the past few months.

Great value and quality.
Excellent quiet operation, great value. Some clock hand stems are larger diameter and may not fit.

Great replacement for my favorite wall clock
This was a great way to keep my favourite wall clock that no longer kept time. I will say it is running just a bit slow, so that over the course of a week it is about 2 minutes behind.
