Spanx Women's Power Short Short (pack of 1)

These Spanx Shorts are great. Was reading reviews and a lot said they ripped too easy. I think that those people had, unfortunately bought a size too small. These are genuine Spanx, and having about 10 pairs, I know. Do be careful when washing them. They do require Hand Washing ideally.

I have one of these I bought a few years ago from Debenhams and this is not of the same quality at all. I’m not sure if that’s because is an improved version or something else but it’s very annoying around the waist and doesn’t support me well. This is very strange as that’s the job that it’s meant to do. I’m a size 8 and got a size M and it still gave me flab lines around my stomach which is worse than if I didn’t wear it.

Spanx are Spanx and these served the purpose for support in my rear…but I was annoyed that after I purchased them the price was basically cut in half! Luckily one pair will last a while.

I feel this is running on the smaller side, even though it’s a control garment. The stitching is strong and the fabric is super stretchy. Does what it’s supposed to, just few it should be more comfortable.

As others have said, they roll down when you sit down.

Do exactly what they say in the tin! Comfortable, smoothing, hold you in, just perfect.

the quality is not what I m use to and after 2 wears there was rip in the seem. cant wear them

Extremely good fit and was very happy. On second wear I took them off and one of my nails went straight through the fabric. Massively disappointed given the cost and hope this helps future buyers to be super careful with them. They are like a very thick tights material and not really robust enough in my opinion. I have other spanx and other brands and this has never happened before.

I am 5'4", 185 lbs., 44" bust, 37" waist, 44" hips, a 36H, and usually opt for an L in shapewear. I got an XL and L in these in the cafe au lait color, and it fit great everywhere for the most part. The XL was the better size. The color was great for the semi-tan white skin I have; most colors are so pale that they show through which these didn't. My only issues were that it is a little long for my torso (came right up to the base of my boobs) which caused it to roll down, and it almost felt like tearing when pulling them up and down. The nice thing is that the torso being too long was basically remedied by adjusting it to not be pulled up as high, and this didn't cause it to wrinkle at all. Highly recommend!!

These are my favorite shorts! I like to wear when my skirt or dress is short!
