The clock works good. to change time and battery go to the back and push it through then remove the back

Max temperature on this is 80 degrees.

I see in the picture the storm glass has writing. Is that permanent or a sticker?

The only writing I see is on the cloudy side and that’s permanent. I love mine and purchased several as Christmas gifts and got nothing but great comments on how cool this item is.

Is the "storm glass" essentially a barometer?

Its meant to show when its not just a change in pressure but coagulate in different patterns when different systems move in.....its not really something to gauge weather accurately or plan your day by but it does react to different weather
