This is a very sturdy rack for holding frames, pads, sketchbooks and the like. The casters are smooth and free flowing. Very high furniture quality and well worth getting, Note however this arrives in a box unassembled with diagram directions. The most important tip is this. There are four main supports that hold everything together. They look identical, but they are not. Two are angled one direction, two the other. These will attach later in the assembly process to the short pieces that that hold casters. Get this wrong when you start assembly and it will be impossible the attach the base. This is very easy to overlook when beginning to assemble the overall rack, If one accidentally reverses these supports, the net result will be the short cross supports that bold the casters parallel to the floor cannot be attached properly to the predrilled holes. If this happens start over because the main supports have been reversed. And the base wIll not attach if the angle is reversed, at which point, then, one has to disassemble the whole thing and start again. Also get someone to help you hold the lighter narrow supports in place. Otherwise assembly becomes somewhat of a whack a mole game. When the angles are right everything fits beautifully.

I considered a few brands and chose the Meeden rack based on their description, photos and customer reviews. I love it! Very sturdy, looks great and didn’t take too much effort to assemble. I would definitely recommend their rack! If you do purchase, just pay attention to the direction of the side rails and how they fit into the base. I was too impatient to deal with the directions and as a result, put them on the wrong direction so when I tried to connect the base it didn’t fit. But I just removed them and put them on correctly. Not a big deal and if I had followed the directions I would have saved myself a few minutes. It rolls easily when you want to move it and the wheels lock when you want it to stay in place. Exactly what I wanted and nicer than I expected!

Love it! Perfect size to hold my art and my big giant art pads. Assembly looked daunting at first, but was actually pretty easy - maybe 30 minutes? All the screw holes lined up for me, so no major frustrations.

I would advise of predrilling the holes deeper before you start assembling. I used the included Allen wrench to start the screws. They became extremely hard to get in right away. I used my Allen wrench with a handle. That helped some until I only had about half an inch left to screw in. Then the heads of the screws stripped out! I ended up using a set of vise grips to back the screws out. I only had machine screws on hand (I live a ways from town) so I used those with a nut driver to get them in. They're not flush or counter sunk like the screws that were included, but fortunately nobody is going to see this. I'm using it to store my product photography surfaces, which it works extremely well for that. Just be aware of the assembly.

I am giving this product a 4-star review because it was annoying to assemble. None of the pre-drilled holes were big enough for the screws. I tried to make it work at first but it was nearly impossible, so I ended up drilling larger holes with my drill. Kind of annoying as it required extra time/effort and made a mess. Additionally, my instructions came in Spanish only, which was a bit challenging as the beams are all different and need to be assembled exactly as designed. Overall though, I am happy with the product - it is sturdy and the wood is high quality. Not once did the beams crack when I drilled new holes. It looks sleek and is in my studio exactly as I pictured it! I also opted for no wheels on the bottom and was nervous that the design would not allow for that option, but it was just a matter of not attaching them to the flush bottom beams. Looks great!

Solid construction and holds a lot of artwork. Easily moves around on wheels if you need to relocate it. Very nice looking- looks way more expensive than what I paid. Highly recommend!

When the first screw stripped I thought I'd done something wrong but several did, the holes are too tight, and now I'm left with a jumble of parts that I can't even disassemble it to return, the screws are un-turnable either in or out, halfway-inserted. Thought it was me until I saw other reviewers with the very same issues. THEN I saw that other reviewers have had the same issues! Very annoyed and disappointed.

Schnell, sparsam und gut verpackt. Anleitung gut verständlich. Dieser Wagen mit Rollen und Bremsen ist recht stabil und entspricht der Beschreibung. Preis stimmt für dieses tolle Produkt.

Il design è semplice ma funzionale. I materiali sembrano resistenti. Forse le ruote potrebbero essere sostituite con ruote in metallo o in altro colore in modo da essere meno visibili sulla base. Consegna rapida.

This is a really nice and fairly sturdy cart. I'm hoping it can handle my heavy frames. Putting it together isn't hard, I did it myself in 20 minutes, but the instructions are terrible. Check all pieces for cracks before you assemble it. Make sure you have the first 4 pieces on in the right direction...the wooden notch at the bottom has to lean outwards, not inwards. And don't fully tighten the screws til the end, and be careful you don't crack it as you move it around. One of my wheels was really hard to put on, I thought I was going to break it but thankfully didn't.
