Robust, Ergonomic Pedals
Pedals are easy to install, and to get clip in and out of. I really like the new style, and the quality of the pedal is quite high. Great value for the money -- highly recommend.

More forgiving for new riders!
Like many in the past year, I'm new to cycling so this is my first time trying clipless pedals. I first bought the SHIMANO Unisex – Adult's PD-RS500 (costs the same $60) and after my first indoor ride a yellow rubber tab on the right cleat ripped (not off, but enough to where the cleat would need to be replaced). A friend suggested LOOK keo and I should have listened the first time but now I see the light. As you can see from the pictures the cleats on the Keo are a little more compact but also have less protrusion of the rubber and with a larger surface contact of attachment meaning there's less stress points and fewer points of shearing. Keep in mind that the rubber I'm speaking of is hard rubber and it will just shear or break as opposed to being ductile. The keo cleats from what I've seen are generally cheaper when buying replacements also. The pedal itself does seem a lot flimsier than the Shimano pedal which seems to be made of a more dense plastic and also has a couple metal plates that prevent wear. Which means the Shimano pedals will likely last longer but they also weigh more. But if I'm replacing cleats far more frequently, it's not worth it. The Keo pedal is all plastic aside from the metal spring tensioner and hub. The Keo pedals are superior in their bearing motion, or roll resistance, however you want to term that. See my video that shows how freely the Keo pedal turns compared to the Shimano pedal. That is helpful when you're trying to clip in it's always going to be in the optimal clipping position. While in your cadence they're also is noticeably more play or wiggle room in the cleat on the Keo than on the Shimano. If you don't like that you can tighten those spring tensioners or get a different cleat that has less degrees of freedom. Even on the lightest tension of both the Kia also is much easier to clip out of, which is super ideal when you're new. As I stated earlier I ride indoors while I'm trying to figure out how to clip in and out because I'd hate to be out on the street and can't get out and fall. Also, it's cold outside! With both systems being the same price and coming with the cleats to me it's a no-brainer to go with the LOOK Keo. On top of all that they have different color options of red, white or black.

Good option to improve the peloton
Very happy for the price. I put these on my peloton because I had broken my last two pairs. These seem to be holding up fairly well after 500 miles.

Should Have Bought Them Sooner
Light, work great, and can’t beat the price. Also the cleats are very grippy so you can walk in them safely. 👍

Me funcionaron bien.

Consigliato !

A good pedal and a good price as it’s about a third cheaper than the carbon model and only weighs a fraction more
