Great for Harley’s work great
Great radio, use them In my harley installs for my customers. Super easy radio for an inexpensive upgrade. Works with Harley handled bar controls when used with the correct harness.

Old School, With A Looooooong Lag At Power On
This is a simpler older-style radio--which is just what I wanted. This radio has actual threaded m5 holes on the side to allow for that mounting style. Many (most?) radios these days simply have a place in the thin metal housing that is bent to allow insertion of a bolt. the thin metal in such an arrangement will not allow a bolt to be tightened very much and will not support the weight of a radio for long. Sounds good and seems to have good functionality. However, when the on button is pushed the radio takes about five seconds to light up and about 10 seconds to start producing sound. Waiting on this warm up can feel like an eternity when you are backing up, buckling up, checking your mirrors, and doing the other many little things that you may be doing when you prepare to start your drive. If I didn't know better I'd think this old-style radio was dark and silent while its vacuum tubes were warming up--it's annoying...

My favorite car stereo
So many features that I don't know how to use, but I wish I knew how to fully utilize them. Nevertheless I love this stereo, it's my second one like this, this one is just the updated version of the one I used to have.

Great!!
Installed this in my '06 Jeep TJ today. I'll have to say, it sounds great and has lots of options for sound adjustments. I am so happy I picked this one. Installation was easy and it looks great. I did not know the face was removable but that's a bonus at this point. I had a $30 Boss in my jeep before and it would connect to Bluetooth at full volume and blast us out. This one has volume limits you can set. There are many different EQ settings and it takes some time to get the sound you want. It's worth the money if you're worried about that. Not sure the wattage but it has plenty of power with the top off the jeep!! I would recommend.

Junk if hooking up to external gear
This unit is worthless if you are hooking up to an external amp or crossover. It will not let you bypass the crossover or speaker configuration. You are forced to use the units crossover network even when selecting through for the frequency range. If you hook up to the rca outputs only it gives you 3 speaker configurations all going to the subwoofer or rear speakers if you have any. I might have been able to use the speaker line outputs with a line converter but it's really not worth it. I started my return and am going to buy a different head unit. I've been installing car audio for over 35 years. I've built multi-amp systems with crossovers and dsp-s. I've built subwoofer enclosures and 3 way component speaker setups from scratch. Believe me when i say this unit is junk if you hooking it up to external equipment. Sometimes thing are over engineered to the point where they become worthless. This is one of those items. A head unit can't control everything which This one is trying to do. There's a reason external amps, crossovers, dsps and eq's are made.
