Good to have!
I recently purchased an Amazon Fire Stick cable to replace my old one, and I’m thoroughly impressed. The build quality of this cable is excellent—it feels sturdy and well-made, with no flimsy connectors or issues with wear. The connection is snug, ensuring a stable and consistent power supply to my Fire Stick. One thing I particularly like is the cable length, which gives me enough flexibility to position the device where I need it without strain. It has significantly improved the performance of my streaming, with no unexpected disconnections or interruptions. Overall, this cable is a great choice if you’re looking for a reliable, high-quality replacement or spare for your Amazon Fire Stick. It’s reasonably priced, works perfectly, and is an essential accessory for uninterrupted streaming. Highly recommend!

Works perfectly, but you can use any charging chord lying around the house that fits into the stick

dumped my cable TV plan
The cable tv company went to streaming and the costs went up. The streaming of the tv service was cumbersome and unreliable. I cancelled cable and switched to Fire Sticks. They were easy to set up, one per tv, and with Amazon Prime many apps are free. I have signed up to a few that I pay monthly, like Disney+. It has been 4 months since I switched. With a little practice I have found all my favorite CBS shows (free) and am enjoying BritBox and other shows that were not available through cable. Although I pay for a few apps, it turns out to be less than paying my cable bill.

Works great
I had to get a replacement cable because the first one was broken when I received it. Amazons return/replacement process was simple so I elected for a replacement instead of a refund. I received the replacement two days after I began the return process. When I received the new cable it was perfect. I needed a particular cable that uses a usbc port which was the only open usb port on my device. it fit and it works. My firestick has a stable connection and stable power so far. It was more reasonably priced than the cable with the power adapter that I used previously which failed after less than 2 years. Hopefully I wont have that trouble with this cable. I love that I dont have dangling cables below my tv.

TV USB Port not enough power to run the Fire Stick
I plugged in the Firestick into the TV HDMI 3 port and the cable into the USB 2 port, and received an error message that there was not enough power to run the Fire Stick. This is from the packaging on the Fire Stick. "On the plastic wrapper of every Amazon Fire TV Stick is a message telling you to “use the included power adapter and USB cable” to discourage you from using the USB port on your TV to power the device. Many people miss the warning or ignore it for the convenience of having one less power adapter to deal with. If you’re currently powering a Firestick off of your TV or are thinking about doing it, here’s why you should reconsider using the stock power brick that comes with the device. The main reason not to use the USB port on a TV to power a Fire TV Stick is that it greatly increases the risk of damaging or “bricking” your streaming device. I know there are going to be thousands, if not millions, of people who will be quick to mention that they have been powering a Fire TV Stick with their TV’s USB port for years without any issues. That’s fine and I believe them because I’m not saying doing so will absolutely damage the Fire TV Stick, but it does make it much more likely for something to go wrong.

Solution to less wires!
Came across this product while purchasing a new firestick for my tv, and SO glad I bought it. One less wire hanging down from my tv that’s mounted onto the wall. Wish I would have found this product sooner!
