Excellent. Medium broken size is perfect for finches and sparrows, doves, and wrens. Whole shelled seed is too large for them. Good clean seed. Very happy with this.

Birds can’t get enough!! They are on these feeders from early morning until it’s time to go to their nests! I have to refill every other day, so I need a large bag. Usually lasts 2 months. I used to buy small bags, but I love feeding them and keep the feeders going. I compared what I was spending and I’m saving money buying the large bag. So if you plan on continuing feeding your backyard birds it makes sense to buy a large bag. My husband and I sit outside and enjoy our cup of coffee while watching and listening to the birds. It’s like an aviary here. We have a humming bird feeder well and love absolutely love it!

FINALLY!! I’ve received a 50 lb bag of TRULY medium chips. These are bordering on small/medium which is even better. I go through at least 250 lbs of hulled sunflower a year, and I always order Medium size chips (I would order Fine/Small if I could find them). Well, for the past couple of years the seed I’ve received when ordering Medium is mostly whole kernels with a few broken chips thrown in. This is a HUGE problem for me ! because when a finch picks up a seed he breaks it and after he takes his little bite, the remainder of that seed falls on the ground or into the tray below. There’s a TON of waste using this size seed. This new bag of truly small/medium chips will last me twice as long as the previous bags I’ve been purchasing. The only problem with ordering 50# bags of hulled sunflower from Amazon is you have no idea what you’ll be receiving. If I knew for sure I’d be getting this same bag of seed again I’d order another 100 lbs right now. Please see attached photo - the new seed is on the right and the old “Medium” seed is on the left. Big difference right?

I have bought several of these bags. The birds love them and I don't have any mess to deal with. I made the mistake of putting the bird feeder on the back patio instead of hanging from the trees. The sunflower seed stained the cement. I have used a power washer and scrubbed with soap and water. It came off, but the cement is still stained.

Birds like it. Found a little debris but not enough to prevent buying again.

Fresh! Eliminates the mess of shells! Every single seed gets eaten! Good size for my birdfeeder! No fillers or debris. Good value, although I always wait for a sale when they drop the price a little...

This item arrived in a cardboard box that just made it to the doorway! But it was intact, and full of great seeds that my birds just love. This is the fourth time I have ordered seeds from this company and I am well pleased
