’ve been using this Nicpro carpenter pencil set on various jobs and it’s much better quality than I expected for the price. The pencils feel sturdy in hand and don’t break easily like standard carpenter pencils. I love that the set comes with 26 refills and a built-in sharpener — the deep-hole marker design makes it easy to get a consistent point. The case keeps everything organized and portable. Good value if you want a complete set for woodworking or construction marking.

Kit comes with spare sharpener, spare lead and two pencils. Easy to sharpen consistently, comfortable and handy. I find the lead to be durable and takes a fine point.

I am a bandsaw operator for a furniture company. After many years of using regular wood pencils and having to sharpen them every 30 seconds it was wonderful to find this product. It does exactly as expected and in my case I have yet to have the need to use the sharpener included. This has saved me a ton of time as well as increase visibility when it comes to the cutting process on the saw. The two included pictures are the black lead on Beachwood and yellow lead on walnut. The only regret I have is not trying them sooner.

Great for my projects since regular or construction pencil lead is sometimes too thick. I have been putting this purchase off for a while thinking I didn't really need to get these "specialty" pencils. Wish I had gotten them sooner. Package comes with 3 pencils, plenty of space lead in 3 colors and a (cheap) lead sharpener. Get one, you'll appreciate it.

These are nice mechanical carpenter pencils, and I use them mostly for construction work. The lead is thick, which helps prevent constant breakage, and it holds up well for everyday jobsite use. They sharpen cleanly with the included sharpener, making it easy to get accurate, crisp marking when needed. That’s a big plus compared to standard carpenter pencils. The set includes yellow and red lead, which I don’t use a lot, but I do switch to them occasionally depending on the surface or lighting, so it’s nice to have the option. One thing to be aware of: be careful carrying them in your pocket. If you sit or lean on them the wrong way, the metal guide can break free from the plastic housing. Not a dealbreaker, just something to keep in mind. Overall, they’re solid, useful pencils that work well for construction — just handle them with a bit of care.

Excellent carpenter pencil and easy to use. Your able to sharpen to a fine point allowing thinnest lines. Also can get in tight spots with ease.

Great value, does everything you need it to. No sense in buying the klien or ox brand versions of the 2.8mm carpenter pencil for $10 and only 3 refill leads. The nicpro also has a clip built into the body of the pencil, instead of the cap/cover making it a little more convenient for me personally. The yellow leads work great for marking on metal, the red leads work great on tiles/ceramics. The only slight downside is the sharpener end has fine threads taking it a little longer to get it off, but overall it works great. Good in the hand, grip when wet or dry, sturdy for plastic, can get a great sharp point for accurate measurements. Helpful tip, dont drop in mortar, cement, or floor leveler, hard to clean the inside.

This is the second time I’ve bought these. The first time was for myself for woodworking. I loved them so much I bought them for my dad for Christmas. Many refills, multiple colors, and they have built in sharpeners to make sure you get fine line marks for accuracy.
