I had a hard time finding a motion sensor light that also had a constant dim light mode at night. These are exactly what I wanted and are half the price that parents found theirs for. I installed a total of 16 of them on my fence posts, each using just a single screw. They worked and lit up right out of the box.The dim light puts off the perfect glow to illuminate my yard with a soft light that is not obnoxious. The bright motion light would be too bright to have on all the time and would annoy my neighbors but is perfect for lighting up the path as you walk through my gate or as the dog goes out at night. I haven't stayed up all night to see if they really stay lit all night long but they stay on long enough to satisfy my needs.I have string patio lights but they attract bugs and moths, so I keep the patio lights off and just enjoy the ambiance from these dim solar lights. I am curious about what kind of longevity I will get out of them and I will update my review after a few months of use.

All four of my lights are working just fine. I let them fully charge one day and one they came that night. These are great lights for what I need them for. Will be mounting them on the front and back sides of my travel trailer to be able to see and not have to carry a lantern. They're not too bright to piss off anyone nearby but bright enough to see what you're doing. Great little lights would definitely recommend them.Update 10/9/17: Mounted two of these on back of camper to light up the area where I have my generator, they worked great. I haven't read the instructions but they are in motion detection mode and would light up when someone walked by. They are perfect brightness for lighting the area when putting gas in my generator. Well worth the price for me.

I received my lights and as a few other reviews have mentioned had 2 not working. I contacted seller and they responded right away saying I had replacements on the way! Super fast shipping and OUTSTANDING customer service. The lights are super super simple to use. Turn them on and face the solar south and your done. I’m using these for hunting feral hogs at night. Specific hog hunting lights cost as much as $300 each! I got 4 for under $30! Light is plenty bright to make a 100 yard rifle shot or up close archery shot! I leave them mounted with double side gorilla tape to the feeders. I’ll buy buying more of this product for sure as I’ll also be telling me friends about the money saving benefits and effectiveness of them for this particular application. I have used similar lights in the past. These are as bright or brighter than many having more LEDs. The motion is detected over a wide range. After charging them in full sun for a day, they all work. They have been out in a driving rain and I am happy to say that they all still work.I was pleased with the lights so much that I ordered them again. I had a small issue with the second order but the customer service was outstanding. I cannot increase the stars but I would if i could.I have these mounted on hooks, mostly are in wooden fence and some are on deck posts. I did this so that I can move them around if some are not getting enough sun light and to alternate them with some others that only light up when motion is detected.

And there working great had a slight issue but fixed immediately no questions or problemsCompared to the ones I paided 12 a piece for these seam to be brighterI'm getting more for around the whole house and barnGreat product

Bright enough to cover the area at the door. A little smaller than I thought but the brightness makes up for .Follow up.... One light installed seem to stop working. Took it down put it in the sunlight then it worked fine. So they may not be getting as much sun as you think and that is why they are not coming on

THey install easily and work fine, but the light is BLUE... like laser blue and it's wide area, but not that bright. The motion works great, but I'll have to move them from the front walk b/c the blue light is blinding rather than illuminating. THse are probably best for an area that needs a little light like plants or a walk way, but not by the door where you need white light

After receiving these lights they were unpacked and enabled as described in the directions. They were charged in sunlight for a full day.The dim and bright modes worked and were triggered by the motion sensor. So far, so good.One week later one of the light's motion sensor stopped working. Three days later a second unit's motion sensor stopped working.A 50% failure rate inside two weeks. Not so good.
