Great rug mat it was easy to cut down to size and provides ample padding for my rug. I've also re-purposed the scraps to be used as padding under the legs of furniture such as table as chairs to prevent scratching of my flooring.

Using this pad on top of carpet and it works well. Stays in place by itself and nice cushion.

Actual pad size is 72 inch x 108 inch (182.8 cm x 274.3 cm) according to the received package label, fits my 6x9 rug from Rugs USA pretty well. The pad does cause the sides of the rug to lift a little, but my rug is still rather new and stiff, and I'm expecting it to comfortable lay over the edges of the rug pad with time. I find my rug much more comfortable to sit on directly with the pad over wooden flooring and even to lie down for a bit (although I generally prefer firmer surfaces, so this may not be for everyone).

This is much nicer than previous rug pads I have had in the past. While the pad sticks to the hardwood floor, the rug does move around a bit on top of the pad, so that is my only complaint, which is the reason for 4 stars. But i may try to get something to try to stick the rug to the rug pad so it does not move. But not the end of the world
