As terrifying as I remember
I bought this for my niece as a Christmas present, and was pleased to see it had made a comeback from my own childhood. It's a well made toy and very fun when you get it to fly properly. The only downside is that as an indoor toy, it's pretty terrifying. Maybe it'll hit you in the face, smashing into the ceiling or maybe even break the TV? Who knows. The anticipation is probably part of the fun!

My daughter loves it
Bought this for my daughter and she loves it, the game is now shoot her into the air and catch her again. Some concerns over how long the rip cord will last but it does feel quite good to be fair. I think used properly with a smooth pulling action it should last. One tip would be not to fly her over a hard floor as the plastic bottom could take a few knocks so we always do it on the carpet
