It's a fun game
Ngl I just got it for the collection edition. The items are really cute and good quality. The game play is a bit rough but I only fell that way when i back tracking because the character stay in place and doesn't fell like I'm moving along with the story. But that's my only take on it I love the characters I had more than a good laugh it genuinely makes me care about the characters. Sometimes I fell like I'm apart of the group with the way they speak. I would highly recommend the game.By the way ignore the other figurines I spent 150 on a mystery bag at an anime convention and I'm using themI don't even know who the hell the girl on the right is

A solid side scrolling platform action game with a nicely weird vibe
This is a weird little game. It's a linear platformer/hack n slashie game with lots of different weapons and items that give a wide variety of effects, but with all that, it's very thin. The description of the game is an action RPG with roguelike things and it is most definitely neither. The gist is you are a zombie brought back to life by a vampire-ish cook to do.. things and you have to destroy plants in your way and then work your way to a stargate for... reasons. The story is somehow very involved and weird but aimless and hard to follow, but there is back story blended in if you're into that. I don't know, you just kind of kill things and move forward. The variety of equipment keeps the game interesting as the game is always throwing new enemies and new items at you and they have different enough offerings that it hasn't gotten stale, yet the aforementioned thin game. You move forward, button mash enemies dead, get their drop and repeat. You don't even have to farm materials - if you have enough of item X and even though you need item X for multiple things, the material is not consumed (so if you have 4 tomatoes and item X needs 2, item Y needs 1 and item needs 4, the 4 covers all of it). It eliminates any grinding but also keeps the game a straight point A to point B affair. I don't know how I feel about it. At this point, I'm programmed to grind even a little bit or backtrack and this game eliminated both while still offering depth of your character. It feels like it's wrong but it's not.The graphics are nice, if small, but all the sprites are nicely animated and detailed. As mentioned, the normal combat is button mashing until things die, but the bosses require a hint of strategy and making use of the dash. Considering the dreck I have suffered through on the Switch recently, having something that's solid but not wow is nice. Worth a play though, for sure.

Great Collector’s Edition
The acrylic stand is pretty cool, and the metallic print is really sturdy and vibrant. Lots of cool goodies, though you should consider that the digital version of the game is a fraction of the price. If you’re collecting, however, you won’t be disappointed.
