18 Months of Daily Carry - Then I Bought Another One
If you've ever been the pen-clicker in class, the person popping the back off the TV remote just to put it back, or the foot-tapper who can't sit still, this review is for you. I have ADHD (Type Inattentive), and fidgeting isn't a habit, it's how I stay mentally present. Over the years I've run through the whole fidget toy gauntlet: cubes, spinners, rings, you name it. They'd give me a hit of dopamine for a few weeks and then collect dust. The problem was never novelty, it was that none of them felt right in the hand long enough to stick. Then I found the metal infinity cube, and it's been a different story entirely. I tried the wood version first. Great feel, satisfying sound, but it was too bulky for a pocket carry. The plastic one was the right size but felt cheap and clattered around like loose change when I walked. The metal version hits what I'd call a trifecta: Touch: Metal is cool against your skin and naturally reflects ambient temperature. There's an inherent quality to the feel that plastic simply can't replicate. Sound: It produces a satisfying clack when flipped fast, louder than wood, quieter than plastic. You can control the noise with how you handle it, though fair warning: it's not silent in a quiet meeting room. 😄 Size & Weight: This is the real differentiator. The metal version is similar in size to the plastic one, but the added weight keeps it planted in your hand and pocket. It also means you can use momentum to flip it rather than muscling it through every motion, it almost guides itself. I bought my first one in September 2024. It has since survived daily commutes, moves, walks, workouts, and more than a few encounters with gravity. After 18 months of that treatment, one of the joints finally started giving out. The piece occasionally comes loose, which creates some frustration (and a minor safety concern given the small parts). So what did I do? I bought another one in March 2026. That's the review. When a fidget toy becomes part of your everyday carry, when you reach for it without thinking during a commute, a walk, a moment where your mind starts to drift; it's not a toy anymore. It's a tool. This one earned that status. The value for what I've gotten out of it far exceeds the price. If they keep making it at this quality, I'll keep buying it. Highly recommended - especially if fidgeting through your hands is how you stay focused.

I could fidget with it all day
Overall impression: my therapist has this fidget toy and I liked it so much that I went and got one for myself. It helps me stay off my phone - I didn't realize how much scrolling social media is really just a form of fidgeting and something to do with my hands. I would buy this again, it's a lot nicer than those cheap looking fidget spinners. This is an appropriate gift for an adult. Pros: -it's made of a nice metal material that gives it a classy feel and looks less like a kid's toy -You can use it one handed -it fits in a pocket Cons: -it DOES make sound, I took a short video so that you can hear the clicking. It's not super loud, but if you are in an office, the person sitting next to you will probably hear it. I didn't take off any stars for that though because I think some sound is unavoidable because of the material used, and the material is very nice.

Cool fidget toy!
Yep, this here is a great fidget toy. It's mezmerizing the way it folds back in and out from itself again and again. It can be done one-handed. It's great for someone who needs to have something to do with their hands while talking, staying focused. Seems well-made and looks sharp. (In appearance, not cutting-wise!)

Hits the spot for that specific sought out stimulation!
As an ADHD struggling individual, a good "fidget" tool/toy is a necessary need— however finding the one that works for you can be a task. Not all toys may be one-size-fits all for your needs! I for example, learned that I A) prefer metal solid widgets. B) Don't like something with certain loud sharp noises. C) Nice distinct textures/ridges. Thankfully, this cube hits all the marks! Here's what you want to know: 1) Feel: Nice cold metal, makes for a refreshing relief against warm hand handling. There's rounded corners so no rough jabs! 2) Texture: Brushed metal that is still smooth for a relaxed touch but subtle enough to notice, this is extremely preferably for those of us irked by fingerprint smear and prefer to avoid that. 3) Size/Weight: Fits perfectly in the center of one's palm, even for smaller hands. Got that satisfying solid weight that makes it easier to feel out and fiddle absently between fingers in addition to a more potent durability. 4) Noise Level: It's not completely quiet, you're going to get some rattling of joints and snapping of metal when folding it around, but it's all far fainter than the harsh clicks of more hard plastic toys. At least for me, it's much more sonically pleasing when fiddling with (and wanting to avoid annoying other people). It's been a few days since I've gotten it and have noticed a distinct improvement in idle focus. I no longer feel as tempted to keep pulling out the phone and playing some mobile game while watching a show/movie in order to keep my hands busy. So yeah, would recommend for the more persnickety sorts who want a good quality long term stim toy to keep on one's desk or in one's pocket!
