Making southern style iced tea can only be accomplished using Luzianne, IMHO. I lived in Georgia for almost 20 years, and the best restaurant iced tea was always used with Luzianne-and most places proudly displayed the Luzianne company banner, provided free I believe, by their local food distributor. I have made this both cold and hot brewed and it always tastes great. You can't ever make a bad batch of this unless you don't use enough bags. I like my iced tea strong, plus I add Splenda to sweeten. I used sugar for many years but have to eliminate most of that commodity from my diet. Sugar or Splenda-sweetened, they're both great tasting.

Wonderful tea for some homemade ice tea. I live in an area where they do not offer Luzianne and a area that sweet tea is not the go to drink. But I am a southern guy at heart living in the north so I need my southern style sweet tea. My family in the south always use Luzianne so I looked online and found this. I tried other local teas but it always seem a little different. This is now the only one I use. It works great with the sweet tea recipe I use. My family and I all love it.

After taking a trip to South Carolina and falling in love with sweet tea, I had to make some myself. Luzianne is an incredibly smooth tasting blend of tea, meant like the box says for iced tea. It's perfect for sweet tea or unsweetened iced tea, and with 48 bags one box will yield dozens of gallons of tea. At $11.42 I even found it to be cheaper on Amazon than at my local Wal-Mart. I also found it to be much tastier than Lipton, which was previously what I made my iced tea out of.

I use these to make southern sweet tea (iced). They make delicious iced tea. Not bitter like some other brands I've tried. In fact these are the only tea bags i use for iced tea. I just follow the instructions on the box as to how many tea bags to use. I let it steep almost twice as long because I like strong tea. Add sugar and refrigerate. I've never tried these as hot tea but i imagine they'd be good that way as well.
