Supportive Rectangular Cotton Yoga Bolster

My first rectangular bolster and it's fair to say that we're fast friends.The dimensions in the description say 6" high. It's definitely 6" high seam to seam but it's taller than that - which is just fine with me. I'm primarily interested in this bolster for passive opening poses (yin) so I love the weight and how much batting it is/has.The color is what I expected when I ordered it and this was great! In one of the photos, the early morning sun coming through the trees show the variance of color w/ light and shadow hitting it, along with my light green strap, and yellowish/lime-green mat design.The bolster is firm, heavy, sturdy, and well-sewn. I love the handles on both ends which are reinforced and seem quite durable. The weight is substantial but not too terribly awkward to tote with the handle.Being able to unzip and clean the cover looks to be easy. Though I've had no reason to wash the cover yet, the zipper looks durable and it's easy to unzip. The zipper is not hard to get to and it's a smooth rise on the zip down; no snags or track jumps.I am very happy with my first bolster purchase and for the price, I couldn't be more pleased!

I was extremely excited to receive this bolster pillow. Unfortunately upon opening the box I noticed a very strong chemical odor and the pillow was still wrapped in a sealed plastic, that’s how strong the scent was. In regards to the “fawn” color it is indeed fawn however less orange than pictured. When seen in person I believe the color is between camel and clay. This bolster pillow is firm with a few dimples due to the over stuffing. The material looks strong, seems to be of good quality. However, I would have to say the odor is the deal breaker for this pillow as it scented up the whole room, which would be a distraction for any yoga room/taking to a class. I don’t want to attempt to wash it with the chance of the odor not going away, then getting stuck with it.

When it arrived, it smelled like it had been stored for eons.My first thought was to wash the cover.However, the cover just got torn, and the zipper went out flying.So, now I cannot put the cover on my bolster, cannot zip it.So all that is left is a white thingy, smelling weird and looking awful, with a broken cover with no zipper.I dont care about it being torn at all, but now it does not even open.So, I never actually got to use this product with the cover.So, I totally do not recommend buying product.

The good stuff:Good size, great orange color (the deciding factor on why I chose this one), good support. Handles at either end are very nice.The bad stuff:The cover just barely fits and I ripped open the zipper the first time I took it off. I was able to stotch it closed, but I cant remove the cover again. The internal pillow casing is not sealed entirely and is just stuffed with loose fill so this can get really messy if you aren't careful. It has (even after about a week and a cover wash) a really weird smell. I cannot figure out what it is but it does make trying to relax in yoga poses a bit more challenging.Overall it is fine for the price and will be good once the strange smell leaves. Next time I will spring for the more expensive one.

While the bolster itself is ok... the SMELL IS HORRIBLE!!! It's a musty moldy smell . No amount of Lysol, Febreeze or Scentsy has been able to help take away or even mask the smell. What a disappointment!!!!!I bought this product on July 7th. Have been airing it out since... STILL SMELLS. :(BUYER BEWARE!!!!MOLD... ugh.ETA: We are now October 3rd. The mold smell is still there. I had to donate it to an outdoor yoga place :(

YESSS!! If you practice restorative yoga or use bolsters in your practice for any reason (stretching, support for poses, etc.), I absolutely recommend this product. I've been looking for a high-quality bolster similar to the ones we use at my local studio, but I've been quite disappointed with the varying price/quality until now. There are a few on Amazon you can find for $10-$15 cheaper, but the quality of this bolster is more than worth it's value. The padding is really evenly distributed so it doesn't bunch up, it retains it's shape extremely well.. I use this in yoga, physical therapy, meditation and I even sleep with it every night for spinal support - this thing gets A LOT of use in my home and it still feels exactly it did the way it arrived. It's quite firm, so be aware that this particular bolster is excellent if you are looking for a lot of strong support.

I was looking for the same type of bolster that my yoga studio has, so I could continue to practice Yin Yoga at home during quarentine. This is exactly what I wanted. Some reviews said the bolster smelled funny. I just washed the cover as soon as I got it & now it just smells like my detergent :)This bolster is over-stuffed, so it is actually larger than the measurements given in the description. It's buldging with stuffing. The beauty is that you can remove some of the stuffing if you really want to. It has a handle on each end, so it's easy to position the bolster during yoga. I love that it is sturdy & supportive for my Yin Yoga & Restorative Yoga practices. I'm so glad I paid a little more money for this one & returned the one I bought from the brand "Node Fitness". The "Node" brand bloster I bought was too long, so it bent in the middle & only had one handle. This dark grey one from "YogaAccessories" is perfect.

Great bolster. Perfect size, super dense, but still comfortable. Just like the ones I use in class.However, the color is not the harvest orange I was expecting. This is bright, hunting-vest blaze orange. I would definitely have gotten a different color if it had been accurately portrayed on the site.Hopefully it will bleach out a little.

Unfortunately, this bolster has an awful, pungent odor in the stuffing. I aired it out for a couple of days but it didn't rectify the problem. I am surprised that there aren't more comments like mine. Had to return it. Too bad because I was looking forward to using it.

I needed a bolster for my home spa business, so I was looking through a variety of bolsters online. At first, I wasn't sure whether I would like it that much as I was ordering it online. To my surprise, however, upon receiving it, I was so happy that I took the chance and had ordered this bolster. If you like zen style that is firm and well-made, this bolster is the way to go, rather than the ones that are just boring solid colour. Actually, I ended up ordering two more a couple of days ago because I wanted to use it personally for my yoga practice and for a gift. My clients like it as well.

I really like this bolster, it appears to be well-made and durable. The colour is great, the fabric feels heavy-duty (but is soft to touch), and the cushioning feels nice and firm. I'm no skinny-mini and this thing holds up to my weight without squishing like a pancake. I was surprised by its heft.

while it is definitely sturdy, I find it to be overstuffed for most of my puroses. It works for supported savasana, and some supported poses where you want to raise your body quite high. The fabric cover is a tough twill which lends to the sturdiness, but also means it is rough on exposed skin and also attracts every little fibre or bit of dust floating around the room and is difficult to thoroughly clean.

Love it. Just like the one I use at the yoga studio. Glad I bought it. Just what I was looking for.
