Loud, overheats, cheap alternative that isn’t worth it

Fantastic value Asta 120
I wasn't going to spend $$$ on Kessil lights and wanted pendant lights. These lights on my 75 gallon at 60% intensity are great and give me tons of shimmer. Unfortunately you would have to spend a little more on the wifi controllers to get full use. The red on the spectrum causes the fans to come on (which are audible if you have a whisper quiet setup) but are not obnoxious. The fix? get the wifi controllers and set the lights to turn on the White channel ONLY. 6 points of scheduling allow you do a mock sunrise/sunset. It doesn't ramp like the fancy lights but it does the job. I bought the extended warranty in case they fail.. but these are great for the money!

Very strong light!
I have been using this light for about 6 weeks now. I originally started it at 80% power and had to turn it down to 50% because it was blasting way too hard and had a huge algae outbreak. I’m working on getting that under control now. Fish and plants look great under the light. I really like the pendant light look as well.

Good and affordable
I have 4 of these on my 8ft aquarium along with two large Kessil's and they hold their own. Not as good as a Kessil but a fraction of the price. I recommend using the 90 degree adaptor on larger tanks
