2009 Honda Fit base remotes
I have two original keys for 2009 Honda fit base, they are just keys with no remotes. I have been wanting to add the remote option, but the dealer is asking way too much for keys with remotes. So, I bought these and was able to program the remote myself to unlock the doors, then I cut off the key portion with a dremel saving me hundreds of dollars. The key part does need to be programmed by a dealer, not just cut to match. These keys have a security chip that if they are only cut but not programmed the vehicle will shut off. Also, replacing the key with my originals was almost impossible, so I decided to cut them off and just use the remote.

Not a match for 2007 Honda Fit.
Is not a match for my 2007 Honda Fit. Dealership and locksmith could not program it. Since the key was cut by locksmith, I can not return it.

No space for super chip, how do you program the transponder?
What worked: remote programmed to lock and unlock successfully. What does not work: has built in transponder based on NXP 26A0700 chip, so a separate transponder chip (like a xhorse super chip) does not fit. And even if you jam the super chip inside the enclosure, 2 chips confuses the RFID reader and still will not work. Not sure how to program the transponder with this built in NXP chip (PCF79XX?)
