Great Tool, Well Built.
I used this to align my car. It worked well. The directions were sparse, but there are many great online videos. If you search donut alignment, they use a tool similar to this. The quality of the tape measures was good, both metric and English measurements. The quality of the digital protractor was also good. It was easy to use, is rechargeable, and is accurate to .02 degrees. I'll probably use the protractor for other projects around the house. The metal plates are well built, and the standoffs were easy to install and adjust. It all fits nicely back into the box for storage and doesn't take up too much room. The first time using it took a while to figure it out but using it in the future will be much faster. This was also less expensive than other brands, and from what I can tell it works equally as well. It pays for itself after 2 alignments.

Well built toe plates
The toe plates are great for working with truck tires or tires that bulge due to lots of sidewall. The first thing you'll want to do is charge the angle finder, buy different tape measures with a smaller blade and 1/32 markings, then check the plates for warpage. Once everything checks out have at it, they work nicely. Don't know why they wouldn't include 1/32 tape measures, cheap's the package out for the price. The thinner blade tapes are easier to pull the sage out of. If you are stuck using the included tapes use some wood to support them the full length between the tires. IMHO the kit is worth the money even with the upgrades needed.

OK for the money
Ok for the money. Very poor instructions for assembly and use.You will need to refer back to the pictures on Amazon for assembly. Plates are thin aluminum and bend with little force. Gauge is magnetic and mounts to a steel bracket screwed to the aluminum plate. Once in place, the gauge does not sit flat on the plate, seems to be 2 degrees off. Rubber feet supplied do not actually fit the product.

Camber not intuitive, or measurable
The toe plates actually work pretty good, but you need to set camber and caster first. But how? Not intuitive at all. In fact, you would be better off not looking at the crappy instructions first. They will confuse you with a stupid word salad. Ended up using that crappy inclinometer directly on the wheel and or the hub. Every time you measure, its a different angle, even if you didn’t change anything. Took most of the day, tons of trial and error. Only thing thats repeatable is toe, which is the last step. Just take your freaking car to the local alignment shop. You can eyeball camber better than what this can do. What a disaster!
