Screw Extractor Set, 37# Cr-Mo & 6542 HSS Steel Cobalt Left-Hand Drill Bit, Easy Out Broken Bolt Remover Reverse, Ez Out Stripped, Rounded-Off, Damaged Bolts, Screws&Studs Removal Tool (31-Pieces)

Broke exhaust manifold bolt in engine head. Did not want to remove head and take to machine shop to have it removed, so, used undersized drill to drill small enough hole and used this kit to remove broken bolt. First try....worked great!

I recently picked up the Screw Extractor Set, 37# Cr-Mo & 6542 HSS S, and I’ve got to say, I’m thoroughly impressed with its performance. Here’s my breakdown of this toolset: Build Quality: The build quality of the Screw Extractor Set is exceptional. The set is made with 37# Cr-Mo (Chrome Molybdenum) steel and 6542 HSS (High-Speed Steel), both of which are highly durable materials. These materials are known for their strength and resistance to wear, which makes the extractors ideal for tough, stripped, or damaged screws. I feel confident that they will last a long time and withstand heavy use without breaking or wearing down. Ease of Use: Using the screw extractors is a breeze. The set comes with a range of sizes, which is great for tackling various screw types and sizes. The steps for use are simple: drill into the damaged screw with the corresponding extractor size and then reverse the direction to remove the screw. The design of the extractors helps grip even the most stubborn screws, and I didn’t experience any slippage during use.

But I got a refund. The manufacturer reached out and offered me my money back. I over torqued a bolt (55 ft lb instead of 52!) and it got stuck, snapped in half. This kit did nothing to it. It didn't bore a hole (yes I know it's left handed) and it didn't get purchase when I Did bore a hole using a different drill bit set. The company refunded me. How I got the bolt out was I got a big drill bit (way bigger than these) and I completely eviscerated the bolt from the inside. M10 13 mm head and 10.9. Took like a whole day to accomplish with breaks. Not an easy task. Not the maker's fault either. I'm sure it works sometimes.

These are an awesome set! Super inexpensive and easy to remove. I have had dozens of drill bits and easy outs. These just drill well and cut through my broken off exhaust studs. I was so surprised how well they worked and when I put the extractor in it fit snug and held well.

This product is the worst quality I’ve encountered. The drill bits are completely ineffective and don’t drill at all. The extractors are equally useless and will break with the slightest use. Honestly, this should be sold as a toy, not a tool. Don’t waste your time or effort—take my advice and avoid purchasing this if you’re looking for something reliable for actual work.

Drill bits barely do any damage is suggest getting something more expensive

Bought as a backup in case i needed them. Didn't end up using them, however, looks like a quality kit and will likely be needed in the future.

Hate to have to use these but when you do and they work they are great. Used to remove a broken off exhaust manifold stud and worked great. Love the left handed bits in the set.
