Hinata 2PCS Overflow Head Sink, Overflow Interface Sink Overflow Ring Overflow Pipes Wash Basin- Rectange Interface

This was needed as the one in our sink had broken (it was plastic) due to over cleaning! Any way I thought this would be an easy change over - boy was I wrong. The sink is ceramic and sunken in the worktop. We could not use the "pipe" part of the item as it would not fit into the outlet tube. Anyway undaunted hubby lying in a very strange position (unhelpfully protesting that this is usually done before the sink is fitted) proceeded to hold up the pipe so that I could screw the front part to it. The washer kept falling out so he put silicone around the edge and it worked holding everything in place until I screwed up the front part. It took a while to fit it but it looks very good and as it was metal fronted rather than plastic (as mine had been) I think it will last a long time or at least Hubby is hopeful! I would recommend but do your measuring first as this was what I would describe as a "comfortable fit".

Bought these to fix a sink overflow problem. Worked a treat and at a very reasonable price. You get two so now have a spare!

The rubber washers supplied with this item don't fit . Their diameter is too small ( see photo) Which make fitting an extremely fiddly job. What also doesn't help is that there are two gaps at the bottom of this fitting, for what purpose I do not know. ( see second photo) The combination of the poorly fitting washer and the gaps make this item unfit for purpose, in my view.

Whilst it's reasonably OK quality you need to be aware that the advert is for one overflow only not two. Even the packing states two but clearly can only fit one in.
