my first remote had a faulty potentiometer and sent flying when it decided to go reverse when throttling. luckily I was wearing armor. also it's too expensive in my opinion. the features of the remote are great though. make sure the firmware is well updated.

don't buy this remote, I can't believe they selling this piece of junk that could get someone killed. they have two listing but comes from the same place. I purchased one that worked for about 6 months but the second one I got in first ride got disconnected 3 times!! the third time I was at 25mph and got really lucky. don't get this remote !!! this is the old batch that still have big problems.. you could try the update but if don't work you can't return

11/16/23 UPDATE - Flipsky did not replace. I replaced and replaced again back to the VX2 for me. 7/23/23- I use flipsky remotes over all others but not happy with this one. Lasted only 3 months of light use. No wrecks and charged like 3-4 times total. Cutout while riding. Will update when flipsky addresses the problem.
