Lava 7103 10-Inch Mini Volcano Lamp, Plastic, White, Orange and red

This was very cool. It lights up as well as bubbles like a volcano. It does actually look like the picture! Also what I love is the quiet sound that it makes! There is this little” tink tink “ sound from the beads tapping the bottom as they fall over and over I put it next to my sons bed as a night light . It’s cool that it also provides a constant quiet sound as well.

The first one we received only had half the water and the packaging was soaking wet, so we requested a replacement. The replacement was covered in moisture, and it appeared to be defrosting (it was a Christmas gift so we assumed it was frozen in transit). However, once it was thawed, it appeared normal and was functional, although it was never very impressive. It quickly used up batteries so we put in rechargeable batteries. Fast forward four months later: nearly half the water is gone, and we believe it’s because it was slowly leaking into the battery compartment where it completely ruined 3 expensive rechargeable batteries, and the lava lamp no longer works. Please save yourself money and frustration and choose a different product!

It worked great for just around 3 months and now one of the lights is flickering (the red one) and there is no way that i can see to change the bulb and i have it plugged in so it’s not a battery thing. Overall kinda bummed

Works well. Its not really a lava lamp so it doesn't get hot. It has a plug like it could have an adapter to plug into the wall but it didn't come with one. It takes batteries that run a fan that blows up plastic beads through a small plastic volcano in the middle. The kids like it and I don't have to worry about them touching it and burning themselves. Still, if it had come with plug0in for the wall I'd be a bit happier.

This is totally the thing they give away on that TV show Floor Is Lava. It's a small, cheap plastic thing that uses three AA batteries, and if you have it running continuously, you'll replace them every few days. I just put some rechargeables in it, and my kid loves it. You can buy an AC adapter if you want. Because it essentially acts as a water pump, it makes very quiet white noise that is pleasant.

This is my second time buying this for my son. I messed up the first one. I like that you can use batteries and don’t need an outlet, it makes it more convenient to move around. It would be a great gift for any child that likes volcanoes.

Mine had never worked despite trying batteries and finding a plug that fit it's specifications. Directly out of box it didn't work. Someone in my home threw away the box the day it arrived so I have not attempted to return it. Expected better from this name brand. Just a waste of money and a disappointment considering I have many lava brand lava lamps that I adore, I wanted this miniature volcano to display with my regular (lava motion) lamps, I don't want a volcano from another brand which will not have the iconic lava brand shape.

I LIKE IT VERY MUCH, BUT WOULD LOVE THAT IT WILL BRING THE ADAPTER INSTEAD OF AA BATERRIES. I JUST PURCHASED ONE ADAPTER SO I CAN PUT IT AS LONG AS I CAN. EXCELENT BUY

This Lava Lamp was a Christmas gift and didn't work correctly out of the box. The light would light up but there was no movement. The battery cover also is poorly made and doesn't work very well. The seller offered a refund, so I am happy with their customer service, but not the product which will end up in the garbage.

No power cable provided.. had to order separately

This is brilliant if you have a mains plug,looks great and very relaxing to watch

Lamp was very disappointing. Waste of money. Didnt do any of the lava effects was missing the screw to hold the battery cover so it would not work at all unles taped and weighed down. My son was super upset.
