Redragon M811 Wired RGB MMO Gaming Mouse 10000 DPI Remapping Keys

I decided to get this mouse after a disaster with a much more expensive mouse. I saw the low price and felt it was worth a shot though I had worries. I found none of them were substantial The first thing that I saw said negatively about it was something about it being slippery. In what I got, it is nothing of the sort. The second bad feedback I saw was that it had negative feedback of both too small and too large. I found it is a great size. The only negative I can give is that the two top buttons on the side would be nicer if further back, but it is fine as it is. I was worried about the buttons. With so many crammed on the side like this, I was worried the size of them would be hard to get the right button. However, the size and way they are shaped and spaced took my fears of this away as soon as I started programming them. The shape of the mouse is OUTSTANDING! I was impressed with some of the shape of the previous one I tried, but, for me, this one put that one to shame on both sides of the mouse. The only thing that was a downside when I first started looking at this one was that it was not wireless. However, it is I nice chord that has plenty of extra length. The only other thing to discuss is the software. It is not hard to find it and it runs easily. The one thing I will throw a tiny complaint at is in how the settings work. When programming even a single button, you have to record, stop, and apply each one. It is not a real issue, but it took me a moment to figure out what I needed to do to make it stick. The other issue is the lighting. The color spectrum in the programming does not match what will be on the mouse. I was able to get the color by trial and error instead of going by the spectrum they give, but it was a little annoying. Other than that, it works nicely and provides all the potential settings I would ask for. Ultimately, I can say this is the mouse I've been wanting ever since I started gaming. I love it!

Overall I'm happy with this mouse. Redragon is my personal go-to for budget gaming supplies, and I bought this mouse specifically for my job, because there are a number of weird keyboard shortcuts and sequences I needed to memorize for the software I use as a transcriptionist. Assigning them to macro buttons has streamlined my work considerably and genuinely improved my ratio of audio length to time to transcribe. I will say, I have very small hands, even compared to other women, so if you are a man with very large hands, you may find this mouse too small. It is a very comfortable grip for my small hands, and I'm able to reach all of the macro buttons comfortably, though 3-6 are the most comfortably in-reach. I find this mouse decently ergonomic and comfortable despite chronic joint pain in my fingers. The software was somewhat difficult to find and took a while to get used to. I really wish redragon would just make a singular app that supports all of their products instead of making me dig around web forums for a direct link to a mouse software they no longer keep on their website or have named so archaically that it doesn't come up when I try to search for it. I appreciate that the mouse can have multiple "modes" or macro profiles, so I can swap between my work macros and gaming macros pretty seamlessly. Recording macros is a little weird with the software, but once I found a tutorial online, I was able to memorize the process. I like being able to customize the light mode and color, and especially that I can customize the light intensity, as I often find RGB products too bright. With this, I can set it to my favorite color and lower the intensity, and actually enjoy having an RGB product instead of finding it distracting or overwhelming.

I have used regular wired computer mice for a while now and this was my first time using a customizable mouse to give full disclosure. That said, it took me about a day to get used to it and I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this. For the price, it's unbeatable. After purchasing, I went to the redragon website and downloaded the customization software and it's very straight forward and simple to use even for someone like me. It sits nicely in my hand for long gaming sessions and responsiveness is excellent. RGB is fully adjustable in the settings which I use different colors to signify my different button profiles. I have larger hands and have no issues with button placement and the size of the mouse or appearance overall.

This is a great mouse for exactly what I needed and at a good price. The buttons feel great, the software allows me to assign any and ALL buttons (including reassign the dpi+ and -). I liked it so much I bought a second one for my son and he also loves it. The 2 rows of side buttons are perfect for ease of use vs the other one with 3 rows (at least for me). The cherry on top is redragon customer service/warranty support is AMAZING! I love all the redragon products I've gotten so far.

This is very comfortable and works well! It has a very long cord, good ergonomics and the buttons are pretty easy to use. It’s fairly light, quiet and I haven’t had a single problem it yet after a couple years. I’d say definitely worth the money. My only gripe is I don’t know if there’s a way to disable the lighting. I’m not fond of everything being RGB so it does bug me that I can’t disable that feature.

Amazon sent me a used mouse even though I bought it new and my rating is based on that alone, not the product itself. There are blatantly obvious wear marks on the scroll wheel where the black coloring came off and scratches along the pads on the bottom. I used it for all of 5 minutes on a mouse pad and there's no way I could have scratched it that quickly let alone scroll enough to put that much wear on the wheel. Not to mention, there was some sort of caked on layer on the side buttons. I tried to show it but I had already scraped a lot of it off because I was trying to figure out what I could have touched since opening it less than 10 minutes prior to leave a mess. Answer was I touched nothing in that time and Amazon couldn't even bother to send me a clean used product when ignoring my selection of a new product. Also while I was configuring the software for the mouse a piece came loose on the inside and was rattling around, if it wasn't already loose to begin with and that's why the original person returned it. Outside of the terrible Amazon experience, I do actually like the mouse based on what little time I had it. I found it to be comfortable. I have large hands for a woman but the mouse was sized nicely for me and my fingers fit along the side grooves well. Buttons 1 and 2 were a tiny bit of a stretch to reach if my hand was positioned correctly but it would work out if your thumbs are on the longer side. I had my husband try it out and he was able to hit them just fine. If you have small hands and short fingers, I would keep looking honestly.

I have used this mouse for a few hours to play Apex and to browse the internet: While it is a good value for the money, some fairly significant design oversights make it a poor product. First, the ergonomics are immediately compromised, and I have to imagine it is not just due to my hands (Which are fairly normal, maybe a bit small). I can barely lift it without pressing the side buttons. Even in this browsing session, I've hit the buttons trying to lift the mouse. Once it's warmed up and I can get that perfect grip on it, I can start to move it, but it's still annoying. The other huge sin is the programming software. It is very unintuitive and forces the user to set up 5 profiles, no more and no less. Sorry, 5 Modes, but Modes are based on Profiles, but both appear at once, but the selection list shows all 5 profiles, plus your custom profiles. But you're actually switching modes, which are set by the profiles. It makes no sense at all. And, since you are forced to use 5 profiles, you cannot simply program a profile for each application (Such as Text, Game and Browse). In the process of writing this review, I also discovered I could not launch the programmer, so I had to uninstall-reinstall it, which cleared all profiles I had stored with the program. The profiles I had stored outside of the program were useless anyway, because they have to be manually saved, which I was not aware of. The RGB customization is limited, but at least you can set a 'Breathing' profile for your preferred color. This is not to say the product is terrible (The software is definitely terrible): The mousing action itself is very smooth (Much better than my previous, to the point where I immediately feel more confident playing my FPS). All the buttons feel good and consistent and sound good. And it is functional. After getting my profiles (Sorry, my Modes) sorted out, I was able to use it to great effect in game. I am already planning my replacement path for this product, but at least it wasn't expensive and it fills the gap.

So the most important thing for me in a mouse is generally useable buttons. When I say useable I don't mean just a lot of buttons that work but buttons that are placed in a way that they are convenient to use without contorting your hand or fingers in unnatural ways. Which leads to why I bought this mouse, I have never owned a Red Dragon mouse before, all the mice I've owned in the last 20+ years have been the high dollar, brand recognized ones. I've had an ASUS Spatha, Corsair Scimitar, Razars, etc. I'm always skeptical about inexpensive mice, not because I like spending a lot of money but generally it means poor quality. I made the exception for this mouse because just looking at it I found the button layout to be almost perfect and definitely superior to literally every mouse I have ever owned. The one change that would make this button layout perfect is if they added town more buttons, the slim ones like the ASUS Spatha has right next to the left mouse click. If this mouse had those additional two buttons I do believe it would have the best mouse button layout that has ever existed on a single mouse. The button layout as is those is very nice, every button is useable without much effort, the 1-4 and forward and back keys are the easiest but I can manage the 5-8 buttons with minimal effort, certain much better than the Corsair Scimitar or similar Razar products with all 12 buttons on the side of the mouse, a horrible design IMO. I gave this product 4 stars instead of five mainly because of the software that you download for it. It functions but I would say it's pretty bare bones, I also can't seem to find a way to set it so it doesn't launch with windows, there doesn't seem to even be a little cog icon to access any settings at all. It asks you when you first install the software but I can't seem to find how to change it. I'm sure I could go into the files and find the flag for it in the code but that certainly isn't user friendly. I did see some reviews on here saying the software wasn't intuitive and making simple macros or assigning simple functions to keys wasn't how you would expect. I can say I have not found that to be the case. Again the software certainly is kind of basic from what you might see on the more popular brands but it's pretty straight forward, I had no issues creating a simple macro or assigning functions to keys for tasks related to gaming. For this amazing price point I would certainly recommend this mouse, I could easily buy three of these for what I paid for my last mouse.

Llevo usándolo intensivamente desde que lo compré, para jugar MMO's y otros juegos. Después de aporrear los botones durante bastantes horas, puedo decir que es de calidad, sigue perfecto. Los botones son muy cómodos y a pesar de tener la mano pequeña, llego a todos y los puedo utilizar. Si estás acostumbrada a ratones de dos botones laterales este es perfecto porque los sigues manteniendo y ganas otros 8. No es ligero, pero no pesa demasiado, es algo a tener en cuenta si sueles levantar el ratón con la mano para moverlo, pero con los días te acostumbras. La app es bastante intuitiva y te da muchas opciones de personalización para hacer macros, etc.
