I purchased this because I was sick of my "old" compressor for tires in my garage. It was over 3X the size of this new unit. My old unit had a short power cord so it always needed an extension cord that always came loose. It was annoying. So I looked at smaller battery units like this. I first realized the really small ones could not do tires for my truck. Or the could do it but you'd have to be very patient.This unit seemed right as far as being small and powerful enough to do truck tires in reasonable time.It delivered perfectly.I unboxed it and it showed a full battery. My truck tires on the right side were a little low so I put it to work right away with no charging. I ended up topping off all tires in about 10 minutes very easily. Just as quick as the plug in unit I used to use that was huge. Also this is a little quieter. My old unit was only about 4 years old but this is huge leap in simplicity and convenience. I intend to keep this in my truck for emergencies as a bonus now. It's small enough for behind the back seat. I think this is a brilliant small pump with a lot of convenience.

When I got this I let it charge overnight. A few days later I went to use it and the battery went dead after about 30 seconds. Luckily it comes with a 12 lighter cable so I was able to inflate the low tire. Charged it for 24 hours this time then tried it again. Once again it quit after 30 seconds or so.Update: Wow! Talk about fast and friendly customer service. Problem has been resolved. Thank you for the great service.

Once fully charged you can top off your tiresto correct psi.It last through many top offs before recharging.I only used it for my car tires.But, it inflates most things

This portable air compressor was a great purchase. It came in a little zipper bag with all the accessories which is nice because after I use it, I put everything back in the zipper bag. Basically, when you use it again you have everything in the bag as if you were using it for the first time. No lost or missed placed items. Now I will review the actual air compressor. 1. It is very simple to use. 2. Great battery life. 3. It effectively does its job. 4. Very convenient.I've used this compressor basically to fill the tires on my cars or truck when the tire pressure is low. I just set it to the desired psi level, start it up, and walk away. When it reaches that level it stops. It is a very well-designed machine. I would recommend it to anyone.

The media could not be loaded.  This was my second purchase from Shockflo because the first purchase (Basically the same model except it was rechargeable) worked well. This second unit was a different story. The last time I tried to use it, the pump would not shut off. The "Play/Pause" button would not shut it off and turning the Power off did not shut it off. The only way to deactivate the pump was to unplug it from the cigarette lighter. As soon as you plug it back in the pump would immediately activate again.I contacted Shockflo customer service by email and they initially responded quickly. They informed me that the unit is covered under warranty and I needed to submit a video to confirm the issue, after which they would replace the unit. I emailed them back with the same video attached to this review and have heard nothing since. It's been a few weeks and I have followed up twice.So now they get a 1-star review.

I purchased the product for the real time pressure read out and to set the automatic shutoff. The shock flo arrived on time in a good condition. After trying it out, the pressure read out was not working and the pump was failing to shut off on the preset psi and keeps on running.I wrote a letter to customer support, but never received a reply. I contacted Amazon to return the unit and received a new unit the next day.I tried the the new unit on my Tesla model3 that needs 42 PSI it showed the correct real time pressure but to set the automatic shutoff I had to increase the pressure by 4psi to get 42 psi.

A parfaitement fonctionné pour regonfler 4 pneus de voiture (2,6 bars).La pression indiquée est correcte, c'est à dire avec une marge d'erreur inférieure à 0,1 bar (vérifiée avec un autre manomètre).L'arrêt automatique à la pression paramétrée est vraiment un plus. Il est possible de faire autre chose pendant ce temps là (les niveaux par exemple, ou charger la voiture).En tout moins de 10 minutes pour regonfler mes 4 pneus en toute autonomie.Se range facilement dans un coin du coffre.Idéal pour mon utilisation loin de toute station service.A voir sur la durée, sur plusieurs mois d'utilisation.

Using a foot pump for car tyres has been normal for decades. For the last 5 years, or so, I have been using a motorised pump, which can be plugged into the car cigar lighter socket. Because this can run down the car battery, the car engine needs to be running, which uses fuel. So, for most of the last 5 years, I have been using an adapter, which is plugged into the house electric power socket, and the other end has a 12-volt socket to take the cigar lighter plug of the electric tyre pump. Of course, you can only use this setup if you are close to the house power supply.My neighbour, a widow, asked me to check her tyres on a regular basis, recently. I had to revert to the foot pump because the extension wire wasn't long enough. That makes you realise how spoilt you are, using the electric pump. About 25 years ago, I remembered using a portable electric pump, with a battery, not only heavy, but enormous. That was in the earlier times of rechargeable battery appliances. I decided to look at Amazon to see what was available now. The ShockFlow portable tyre inflator seemed to have a good specification and review were good. I took a chance, which I don't regret.The appliance is fairly light, and unbelievably small considering it consists of a rechargeable battery, is powerful, and it is easy to use. PORTABLE is the right word. It's a lot quieter than the plug-in electric one. I do like the single button for single use, instead of the more modern single button for multiple use, which is more confusing. It can be used for pumping at the same time as being plugged in to charge, if the battery is low. Also, to recharge, it can be plugged into the car cigar lighter, or a USB socket. There is a useful battery charge level indicator, and it can be used for quite a few tyres, assuming they are not all flat. Strongly recommended.

Tenía dudas a pesar de los comentarios de la gente, en su mayoría favorables, pero lo he usado una vez solo y me he dado cuenta de lo práctico que es. La velocidad de inflado es normal pero me parece rápido porque no tienes que extender cables, sacarlos por una puerta y por otra, lo que te hace ir a lo concreto, directamente inflar la rueda. No vibra mucho lo puedes dejar en el suelo y se queda quieto. La precisión no la he comprobado, es difícil sin equipos calibrados decir algo al respecto. Lo peor es lo poco extenso del manual. Por ejemplo dice que hay dos formas de cargar la batería y solo habla la del usb. No dice nada sobre el cable conectable al enchufe del mechero, uno puede pensar que esa es la segunda forma. No lo sé pero intuyo que no porque el indicador de batería solo parpadea por medio del usb.Otra cosa que se echa en falta es un adaptador del tipo rápido para el tubo de inflado. Siendo sincero el conector de rosca que lleva no deja escapar demasiado aire al quitarle por lo que, poniendo 0.5 bar de más en casa rueda me aseguró de cubrir esa pérdida. No obstante, compraré un adaptador rápido. Muy práctica y elegante la bolsa para guardar el inflador.
