This sturdy little pin vise is a useful tool for crafters and modellers. You also get a seperate pack of 25 drill bits suitable for drilling small to very small holes. The vise is easy to use and makes fiddly jobs much easier.

The bigger drill bits work better than the thinner ones. I bought this primarily for the thinner drill bits but those are not very sharp; they barely do anything to plastic and resin, even with pilot holes. They do eventually grind through with enough time and pressure. The rotating cap at the end of the pinvise handle wasn't very useful. It's rough and not well centered. I would have found a smooth solid end cap better as I would be able to let that spin against my palm whereas the current end cap doesn't let me apply pressure as it gets stuck with friction and makes the bit wobble. It's held with a spring washer, so you can just pull it off and replace it with an solid cap if needed. It's good enough. Overall, for it's price, it's still an ok tool. The bits appear to be accurately sized and the pinvise is sturdy enough. But it won't feel like a high quality tool; the pinvise does not look very accurate and the end cap is wobbly.

Fantastic value for money. Great bit of kit. Have tested on wood, plastic and seashells with success but little effort. A guide would have been handy as I had to have a look on YouTube to figure out how to use it but other than that I’ve been very pleased so far.
