Glad it was only water in it
Had this bottle a few months, not used it, but now with a new steam iron (from amazon) I put it to use to fill the iron with the correct water ( maybe the iron will last longer this time ). I'm just glad it was only cold water as in first use the bottle leaked all over my hand. Close inspection revealed a crack above the threaded part of the bottle neck making it completely useless. Chucked it in the bin ( recycling ) not worth hassle / postage of a return. Now using empty supermarket bottle - no problem
