They are the best!! I can see so good for crosstitching. I would buy them again.

Perfect for close-up work. Tiny cactus spines are annoying here, almost invisible. This lighted magnifier shows them clearly, is hands-free, allowing you to use the tweezers. Too small for reading, but perfect for close work such as crafts, threading a sewing machine needle etc. Comfortable to wear, compatible with glasses. The range of included interchangeable lenses allows you to select the right amount of magnification for the task.

I bought these for use when building scale models. Pros: 1. The build quality of everything is quite good. 2. The storage/carrying case is very convenient and well made. 3. The magnifying glass are plastic, but are high quality and gives clear images. 4. Choice between built-in battery and AAA batteries, the AAA batteries allows you to essentially use these indefinitely. Cons: 1. The shape of the "legs" that you attach the headband (or regular glasses style legs) to is not ideal. It's a bit too narrow for me so no matter which option I use it gets unconfortable after about an hour. For this reason I had to return the product. 2. I find the lights to be not very useful. They come from essentially the same angle as your eyes so there's little shadow. This is not good if you are working with small parts instead of a flat surface. Overall: Works very well but could be uncomforatble depends on your head shape, especially if you wear glasses.

This is a very adaptable magnifying aid. I can use this headset with or without eyeglasses. If you work on things up close and detailed, this works very well. This set has multiple choices of lens magnification which is very helpful. The light is adjustable to the area needed. The lenses flip up and out of the line of sight when not needed, but flip down again in a flash with no need to re-adjust. For the price, this is a great value.

Great magnification, and brightness. Now, if you have a wide face you will not enjoy the fit. Definitely made for small heads.

Comfortable, great for crafts

My Mom is 86 and she was so down when I talked to her a couple of weeks ago. It made me so sad. There isn’t much an old person can do when they can’t walk and her sight has been going for awhile. She’s finally at a point where she can’t get on Facebook, can’t see the TV and can’t read her emails. Well I went to work right away looking for something to help her. I didn’t know if it would work for blindness but the product got great reviews for working with tiny pieces, I thought I’d give it a try. She called me the day after she got it on top the world! It had worked for her and was fantastic! It did get heavy in her nose but she didn’t let that bother her. She could now read emails and she was back on Facebook. And the value! For $32 I gave her more happiness than I think any of have been able to in years. The bag is super too because she can feel around for all the little parts. I’m just so pleased she has her little bit of the outside world back. Thank you!

I've only given this item 4 stars as I don't find it as comfortable as my optivisor. I had to remove the nose support as they wouldn't fit with my glasses, also found them a bit uncomfortable on the forehead. The really good points are the range of lens supplied, this is a great benefit. The light also offers additional help if you require it.
