I use these for hooking a cd with an older usb connection to a Ruark stereo. It works perfectly. Hangs out a little far in the back but I only use when I want to listen to language cds so easily removed. All is good with these. The quality seems good and the price is right. Only needed one but have two.

Bought so I could plug a USB A device into a MacBook Air. Works perfectly.Beware that two of these cannot be used side by side in a MacBook Air as the ports are too close together. This isn't a fault with the adapters, they have to be wide enough to take a USB A plug. If you want to use 2 side by side in a MacBook are you'll need to find an adapter that has a short length of cable between the USB C plug and the USB A socket.

I ordered these and they worked first time and no intermittent connections.Note, Android has a security setting to Autoblock connections made to the charger port. If you cannot access the USB drive check your settings ( USB debugging was greyed out because of the autoblock setting)These OTG were to replace ones from a different brand and supplier that had a short lead to them. Though they were metal and a good lead and felt good they were not fit for purpose. They were well made but after about 5 or 6 uses they were losing contact with my Samsung phone. I wondered if my phone's connection was getting worn as it is charged about 5 times a week. It seems it was the leads as these work perfectly.I don't use the OTG very often so hopefully no more problems in the future.

Firstly packaging is really good. Item comes boxed in a nice foam insert. Trouble is that ends up in the bin fairly quickly as its not really necessary but does ensure the adapters arrive in good condition. Build Quality and finish also looks good.No idea whats in the adaptor but it does exactly what is needed which is run devices that have a male USB A connector. I use these with a USB charger that has a USB C connector on it and a cheap cabled mouse that has a USB C cabled connector.

I sent this pair back as they came in later than a pair by ANKER. I wanted a small USB C to use withh my MacBook laptop that would power my Apple SuperDrive. Apple has a dongle that wworks but it cost as much as 2x more and it is 6" long.The now the 2nd one I have tried that powered the Apple USB SuperDrive. The ANKER that arrived before this pair powered the SuperDrive also so I kept those as I had started using them.I like the LED light that provides an indication that the USB is powered on the ANKER item.These are small and convenient.I would recommend whichever is less expensive when you find a need to order a pair.
