Yate Loon has long been known as one of the top OEM fan manufacturers in the business, and their fans are well known as a lower-priced alternative to other comparably performing fans. These fans offer excellent performance at a budget price and are among the most popular fans on the market.

Excellent 140mm Case Fan
I put this on the front intake of an Aerocool Extreme Engine 3t. On this case there is a fake turbine in the front to make it look like a jet engine, and that turbine spins because of the fan behind it, pulling air through. I also have built in fan controllers and when this was on its lowest fan setting, that turbine would not spin. With this fan in there the turbine spins extremely fast on it's lowest setting, so visually I can tell this moves more air than the default Aerocool fan. I'm only powering this fan through that fan controller, and I doubt that when I turn it all the way up, that its hitting the 2000rpm mark, but whatever the true RPM's are, this fan is near silent when cranked up. So much quieter than what it replaced. I'm guessing right now it's at around 1500 to 1700RPM and all I hear is the whooshing sound of air...no mechanical, whiny, or electrical sound at all. If I ever need another 140MM I wont hesitate to get this again. I might get a couple of their 120mm to replace my CPU Cooler fan as well. They say that it comes with a 3 and 4 pin connector, but that's not entirely true. There is a 3 pin motherboard header connector, but the 4 pin they are talking about is a simple Molex connector that is attached with the 3 pin. Not an issue for me, but those looking for a 4 pin mobo header connector would be disappointed. It also is completely clear and does not have a black frame. Again, not a big deal and this actually works in my favor, but somebody needing black specifically would be upset. The last con if you would consider it that way, is no screws included, and somebody else might have mentioned that already, because I knew that there wouldn't be any. You could always use bread ties temporarily if you find yourself without the screws.

Good quality, decent performance, very good price.
These arrived promptly and work pretty much as they should. I so see that they spin up to about 1850 rpm max rather than 2000. That's within their specs but I had hoped for a little better (so one star off). Still, they aren't unusually loud and move the air as I needed. You can clip the wires to the LEDs if that stuff is annoying.Yate-Loon is a high-value brand in case fans, meaning you get a good fan for the price. I think these are sleeve bearing so will eventually wear out, but in my experience that may be 8 or more years from now.

Most Powerful 140mm Fan Ever!
This is the most powerful 140mm fan I've ever found. I looked all over and you just can't find 2000 rpm 140mm fans like this. They are right on the boarder line of noisy but give the best darn cooling of any other 140mm fan I've tried. So they are just under the anoyingly noisy mark for me, any louder and it would be irritating. So this fan is the coolest fan ever. I've purchased a bunch of these for all my computers as they are freaking awesome for cooling, look great and are still reasonably quiet to my liking.

Good looking Fan.
I got these Fans for my Clear Sided Gaming PC. I've got them blowing directly on two GTX 680 Video Cards for extra cooling air flow. Fans work great, blow high rate of air and look good with the lights.
