Perfect for the Shire
I LOVE this powder grass, it made my Hobbit house realistic. I used gorilla glue and tweezers and placed little patches at a time. I also tried another technique; I painted a layer and sprinkled the grass while it's wet, but it does move around a lot. If you use the wet paint technique make sure to use a similar color to the grass and not touch it for at least a day, that way it settles and stays in place.

Very good basing material for Warhammer
Bought this to provide a base layer of material for warhammer bases. Looks like real grass and the size of the fibers are good for them. You get plenty of material for the value. This is easily applicable with basic Elmer’s glue! My only suggestion would be that these would be better in a wider but shorter container. It would make it easier to apply to miniatures without making a mess. Overall I still recommend and bought it twice!

Nice Product
This item worked okay on my mini log cabin scene. Probably would've been more effective had I used an actual static applicator, instead of the balloon static process that I used.

Amazing value, less than ideal packaging
So the headline makes it seem like there is a problem here, but it's more about knowing what you are getting. I saw the price and the containers and figured it would be an ok value to have a small variety for my terrain building.I got these bottles, and upon opening them found out they are absolutely STUFFED full, like it starts expanding when you open the top and can fall out. I love the value, there is way more in these than it first appears. However if you aren't ready for it you could have a mess right off the bat.The only extremely minor thing, that is probably just a me thing, is that to use this effectively you'll need to transfer it to a different container so you can let it expand, sprinkle it, or do whatever you plan on doing with it. If you're into crafting, you likely already have these solutions available. This was my first rodeo and I did not.Great value, great looking flock.

Good bang for your buck!
A lot of reviews talk about the containers being tiny. They're super small, but they're packed full. I don't see myself buying more static grass for a while. I legitimately dumped one of the jars into a container 2x it's size and it filled the entire thing up.

Looked great
Only used one of the greens for grass on a miniature and it looked awesome.

Works well
Used this product with a static generator and achieved very good results. The grass seems to be 3 mm in length but it does vary slightly. The consistency of the grass varied a bit by color, perhaps due to the product it was manufactured from. For example, the darker green seemed more slippery and passed through the sieve faster. However this did not affect the results. Having only one length means that it will be necessary to procure some longer, 6-8 mm grass to achieve the proper affect. For even longer grasses it sometimes works to cut the bristles off a paintbrush and arrange clumps.

Very good mossy effect.
What matters is coverage and color and how well it adheres to a surface. The tiny bottles I thought were very small but turns out they cover a larger area than I thought they would. I found that mixing the colors gave better depth and natural look. I used a water proof glue and used it on a very large owl that lives outside, without cover. It has been there for months including one ice storm and still looks great. Was very surprised how well it has held up. Real moss doesn't hold u this well. The picture is a candle that lives outside under cover. While this item is viewed much closer to the eye, it still maintains it's illusion of mossness. The dried hops flowers, see picture, can't get wet so it must be kept out of the rain, but the moss holds up regardless. I recommend a water proof, clear drying glue to perfect the moss illusion. Even if you wipe it with your hand it won't come off once the glue is dry. I used a hand applied glue for spot control. I have not tried a spray on adhesive, so I don't know if that works or not.
