DuPont 45 in 1 Precision Screwdriver Set, S2 Alloy Steel Bits Magnetic Screwdriver and Hidden Magnetic Storage Design for Appliance Repairs Tool Set

I bought this particular Screwdriver Set because of two things:1) It's form factor vs 'bit' option availability.2) The number of existing good reviews.I wanted a Screwdriver Set that I could keep in the top drawer of the Kitchen to have a "quick grab" tool to hand.Since it's arrival, it's been use to open a few battery compartments in both Kitchen Gadgets... and the new toys (and other presents) at my Niece's birthday party!Effortlessly useful.Well made.Very happy.

Really really like the screwdriver and all the accessories BUT the compartment at the top of the handle it’s a pain if you need to apply pressure as it always pops out while using the driver, I’ve had to take it out most times

Edit - to note that teh seller (DP tools store) saw this review and offered a full refund, which I gratfully accepted. I really do like this driver, and suspect many other will have no issue if just used as an accotional driver - if they resolve the issue I note, it would be by far the best driver I have purchaced. I have amended from 2 to 4 stars to represent teh fanastic sellers aftersale service. :-)---------I've been on the lookout for a decent multi bit screwdriver. This one peaked my interest because Dupont is a company I know, so took a punt. On arrival, I was thrilled - it felt great in the hand, the storage construction was fantastic and the bits feel positive. I honestly thought I had found the perfect driverThen I started to use it on the field, and found it's drawback. It's been mentioned a couple of times on reviews, but I'm amazed more don't complain about it. When I started to use it, I found the bit holder constantly popping it - at first I just thought I needed to be more cautious, but even being aware of it, you just can't help activating it. Sometimes that just means popping it back in, other times it falls to the floor and I will loose it, or the bits. The popping mechanism is unfit for purpose, and wonder if the designers actually tested it, as it's so painfully obvious that it's an issue - all it would need is a slightly different approach.I cant use it; or at very least not as my main driver, so is relugated to my workshop draw. It's such a shame, as besides that one flaw it's easily the driver I have used.

It's a quality screwdriver, with more bits than you will probably ever need. The bits themselves, are top notch, all held securely in the caddy. I like that the case is aluminium, so worries of it breaking in the future. I also like the pop out cassette in the handle, it has the more regularly used bits in. Overall it's a quality, well designed screwdriver, that I hope, and expect, to last for many years of use.

There's a lot to like with this, I wasn't too sure what to expect - I've had plenty of these over the years which are poorly executed or lack refinement.However this is a great tool to have, particularly well suited for fiddly electrionics work, and even furniture etc. My only comment of note would be that if you need a particularly high-torque tool, then you might struggle to apply enough with these (e.g. undoing a hex screw that was tightened with a hex key). Using a pair of grips might help there, but it has a lovely finish on the screwdriver, so it's best just to use a hex key or something.All in all, a great addition to the toolbox!

I love this little set. It is so well made and so fantastically designed; it is perfect. It has a quality feel, the tools all feel very sturdy and well-made. It's perfect for keeping in the house to quickly tackle all of the niggly little jobs that normally see me trudging out to the garage to get the toolbox. Not any more! Love it!

I really love the concept of this set, but I have had both the T6 and T8 bits shear off when using them. If this hasn't happened then the set would get a 5 star rating from me.I can't fault customer service though, they sent a complete replacement set without question. But, sadly I would think the replacement set would be the same too.I just hope the rest of the bits in the set are more durable when I come to need to use them

A well made, and well designed set of tools for electronic and miniature repair.This set has a solid, quality feel. Everything fits together for convenient storage. I have found it very useful; spectacle repair, SIM card exchange kit assembly, etc, etc.The kit is so useful, I am now fanatical about ensuring that each tool goes straight back in its correct place.
