Good Rheem factory quality OEM water heater element. Works on Marathon water heaters. Easy to install by simply screwing it into the tank with a wrench.

Reliable elements for old marathons
I have an old Marathon water heater and the newer elements don’t fit, so happy to be able to source these at a reasonable price. So great to have a water heater that lasts over twenty years with only element and thermostat maintenance.

BE CAREFUL...... these are task specific
oem from Rheem used for Marathon 85 gallon water heater N.B you need an 1 7/8 socket ....not a standard water heater element socket 1 3/4 elements are task specific upper is different than lower thermos are special also normal thermo disc will NOT work. there is a retainer loop on the upper thermo that has to go under a hook on top element housing this is lower 4500 watts

Rheem water
My Rheem water heater uses 1-7/8 socket size elements not the standard 1-1/2 you buy in a bid box store. Bought then for spares they can be hard to find and there pricey . Also the top element is copper and the bottom titanium . This Rheem water heater is not made of metal not suppose to leak should last a lifetime, only parts to wear out are the element and controller
