Good quality, wrong polarity
As others have stated the polarity is wrong on this thing out of the box. But it has good quality wire screw terminals inside the housing so it’s super easy to reverse the wires and then all is well.

works
Works great for charging my BMW R1100S through the 'powerlet' port.

Works fine, once polarity changed
As has already been pointed in another (four-star) review: the polarity is reversed for a typical application (e.g., as the ultimate extension end for a smart charger that terminates in an SAE connector), but it's easy to change, because the wires are held in place by screws. Just unscrew the case, shorten the longer wire such that the shorter wire is now the longer wire, strip some insulation from it, and reverse the screw connections, and you're good to go.

Good adapter
I use it on my Euro motorcycle to connect to the SAE plug on my Battery Tender Jr. trickle charger. Works well.

CAUTION, WIRED BACKWARDS!!!
Be careful!!! Mine was wired backwards! Could cause damage to equipment if not checked first. Actually easy to fix with a screwdriver and wire stripper, bit this type of error is unacceptable in electrical equipment. Also not waterproof so need to fill with silicone to use on motorcycle.
