Spectrum Grade 3 Vocabulary Workbook, Language Arts Book Covering Compound Words, Context Clues, Roots and Affixes, Reading Comprehension, and More, ELA Classroom or Homeschool Curriculum

Classrooms today are disappointingly less serious than they should be. Learning should be fun, but not when fun is at the expense of actual development. I got a few Spectrum book for Math, Reading, and Vocabulary to supplement what I believe is missing in public schools in Virginia. My daughter has made a dramatic difference in comprehension and recall. The activities are engaging and my daughter appreciates all of the worksheets she can practice with on her own. Every review we do together also brings us closer because it’s time well spent. I will absolutely buy this for every grade level available in the coming years.

All Spectrum books are a great resource for the students that I tutor.

I bought this book, as you might guess, for the vocabulary practice activities. They are exactly as expected, which is good, solid practice pages. I wasn’t aware, however, that this book contains an additional section of test taking strategies, primarily in the form of reading passages with questions. I found that to be a nice bonus. I will probably use that section a bit. Additionally, buyers should be aware that the last 20 pages are just blank with the word "Notes" at the top. Given all the extra pages (index, answer pages, blank pages, test prep, etc.) there are only 80 pages of straight vocabulary activities. Still a good value for $10, but not the 160 pages in the product description.

Amazing books. He loves them, I love them. I would give them as gifts because our children needs them. EDUCATION IS EVERYTHING!

Well organized booked, easy to follow. Great way to practice with your kid while schools are closed.

My 8 year old son HATES writing. This book is helping him with vocabulary while also getting him to write. He asks to do a couple pages a day because he enjoys them. His hand writing has really improved this year!

My son learned a lot of these books.and he is homeschool it's only sept, he started since Aug 10 and he almost done.math was amazing! He in the 2nd grade but I am teaching him a Third grade books. Planning to get a 4th grade books.

This is a very good book to build fundamentals of the vocabulary in the young ones. It introduces multiple concepts. I would definitely recommend it to kids 7-9.
